Thanks man! It seems like most of these warranty companies (floodford, andersonandkoch, etc) are only accepting cars pre 41 months old.
I did send in an application last night through Lombard and followed up with a representative this morning and he said I need to have my car inspected by a...
Hi, my 2017 gt350s powertrain warranty will be expiring this November and I’ve been researching about extending my powertrain warranty.
Has anyone had any experiences with Lombardfordwarrantys.com or is currently using their warranty? I just wanted to know if they’re legit or not. I’ve tried...
That’s true about streets of willow. My gt350 didn’t perform the best on that track compared to some of the hondas that we’re out there.
I’m not a fast driver by any means, but my best time was a 2:17.89 at Buttonwillow. It was my first time there and I had a lot mechanical sympathy due how hot...
My last track day at Buttonwillow speedway a few weeks ago was also above 100 degrees and my oil temps were about 275 degrees. I wonder why yours reached 300 degrees though
I had that exact same problem. Hesitations with bursts of revs during freeway cruising speeds but my cruise control would still be functional. It turned out to be the output shaft but was loose. I tighten it to 105 ft/lb with thread lock and the problem was gone.
I’m selling my original brake calipers from my 2017 gt350 with approximately 15k miles when removed. Asking price: $650 Location: Monrovia, CA Local pick up preferred
You were right, my cruise control won’t even turn on. I didn’t see anything light up in the gauge cluster whenever I would press the button. I also noticed the my phone call/end button not responding either. I wonder what the problem could be aside from the transmission output shaft bolt?
I’ll look into it, but it’s highly not possible only bc of the inconsistency, and how I need to press the clutch in to allow the revs to wind down. There’s no other way to “reset” this rev hang problem of mine while I’m driving.
Right. I read the pdf file based on the tsb-19-2135. It certainly looks like that’s the bolt they’re referring to.
I wonder if my powertrain warranty will cover that job since my bumper to bumper had just recently expired.
It sounds exactly like my car and it bugs the crap out of me. It’s extremely noticeable for me at the track and when I’m having a few pulls on the freeway.
I’m going to try the KAM reset and also try to see if my cruise control works, just to see and rule out what was mentioned earlier.
If...
Good to know! I’ll look into it, for sure. I don’t know if my cruise control works, I have never used it in this car before. So, if the cruise control does not work, would 99% of the chance be that problem? Thanks in advance!
Oh man, I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case. Now I’m a bit worried given the fact I’m the 3rd owner. The person I bought the car from (2nd owner) said he had never touch the car. I’m not sure if the 1st owner did.
Is there a telltale sign without have an n gauge to know if my car is or has...
