  1. Passenger rear window doesn’t close fully (cabrio).

I have always had this problem, and have a simple way to avoid it. ALWAYS raise my rear windows first, THEN the fronts. The front windows block the movement of the rear windows. 🤓
  2. Driving in winter

My Blizzaks are EXCELLENT. Long lasting and TONS of grip. I will be driving nothing else now❤️
  3. Old guy Mustang questions.

I have the 18 GT Convertible without the PP, but with the Premium package. LOVE IT! You can expect 25-28mpg on the highway, with 87 gas, and it purrs. Running 91 gas gives you an extra 1mpg and it is more powerful. I looked for my used one, and nothing within 800 miles of me. Found 1 in...
  4. Hidden info

In this upside down pic of my 2018 Mustang, I saw something that could only be seen when the light reflected a certain way. On the dash, a stamped part info was clearly visible. Zoom in to read it. 🤔
  5. What's the longest someone's car has been in a Ford dealership getting repairs?

A pig ran into the road, and I flew over him. He died. Sent to repair shop November 7th. It's now December28. They didn't even start on it til Dec 6th. They claim getting parts takes months now, and if its a Ford F150, they won't even accept them they are so backlogged. My John Deere tractor...
  6. Winter - Help!

Humidity turning to moisture is the main issue. I would say take it out once every 30 days and drive it until the engine gets fully hot, and drive it for another 15 minutes. This boils off the water that has collected in the engine and oil. Then plug it in to a battery maintainer in your garage...
  7. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

My junk Pirelli tires went 34K on commute driving. When I had Discount Tire take a look, two layers of steel belts were worn thru. Got Blizzak and I LOVE these tires in Colorado weather.
  8. Stock PZeros - How long do they last?

I had the PZero All Seasons that came on the car. Never did burnouts. Never raced. They slid on snow like it was melted butter. At 34,000 miles, ALL 4 tires had gone thru 2 metal belts. They looked great from the side so I didn't notice. Pieces of SHIT. I get snow, so got Blizzaks and love them.
  9. No wi-fi hotspot in convertibles?

My 2018 GT Convertible has the Premium Plus option, which has voice navigation, heated steering wheel, digital dash, and Wi-Fi hotspot.
  10. Quick convertible boot question

I speak many languages: American, British, Canadian, Australian...
  11. Talk Me out of a Supercharger/Supercharger Suggestions

If warranty is concern, Roush blower will back the 36K warranty. You lose the tower brace though. Superchargers are too fun. You may crash. You may get large traffic tickets. Everyone will want to race you. Your insurance and gas bill will skyrocket. Your tires won't last long. Your drinks will...
  12. What mode do you normally drive in?

The wet/snow mode is smoooooth... and best for fuel economy. Normal has stronger shifts. Sport + is aggressive, keeps you in higher revs, does engine braking, and is FUN! Track turns off traction control and is at your peril. I don't use S for paddle shifting. I'm not as fast as the automatic.
  13. Best subframe brace for convertible?

People get confused on the K brace. There is a bottom K brace that ties the front suspensions together. There is also a Ford Performance K brace to go along with their strut tower support brace above the engine. The lower braces have at least 3 different styles, all easy to bolt on. The jacking...
  14. MPG's - 2019 Mustang Convertible GT Premium

I've got the 2018 GT premium convertible 10speed. If I drive fast in Sport +, I get 22mpg. As a daily driver 36 miles to work thru city and highway I get 25. If I baby the throttle and stay under 70 on highway, I've gotten 28. For 460hp on 25mpg, I'm ecstatic. The Pirelli tires are pieces of...
  15. Anyone here officially had the "Rona"?

I am a "necessary worker" and I had to pat search 6 arrestees that had Corona just in 1 day. I got a big dose of it, that went into my stomach, not my lungs (thank you god). I was in bed for 3 weeks and couldn't move. Literally. No energy. No taste buds. Vomit, diarrhea. I was SO TIRED. I didn't...
  16. Northern climate/winter driven S550 Mustangs: how are they holding up?

At 34,000 the P-Zeros had dissolved thru 2 layers of steel belts. All 4 tires. I had NEVER burned rubber (it's a DD). The Pirellis were pieces of shit. I chose Blizzaks to run year round. Snow tires for the win. I can't notice any noise, but hard turns are a little mushier. But the GRIP! On the...
  17. S550 Technical Specs

Where can I find video/text on everything to know about the S550? How is the ECU programmed? How does the Coyote engine set timing, choke, idle speed? How does the 10 speed tranny pick the gears? How does the cab alarm pick up movement inside, and what is it using? Why can't I get the visor...
  18. 2019 Mustang GT Auto Very Rough Idle/Engine Stall

No stalls. No problems once the 10-15 seconds of misfire ends. I dread taking it to a dealer with a jughead trying to figure anything out. I pray I can get a good tech.
  19. 2019 Mustang GT Auto Very Rough Idle/Engine Stall

I may have the same issue. When I start the engine cold, first thing in the morning, it starts fine, and then as it is idling, at 15 seconds it starts to backfire for 10 seconds, and then everything is normal. Ir does this the same way each morning. Sometimes its strong enough to to throw a code...
  20. Installing Radar Detector with Wiretap

I got a mini wiretap, and put the positive on the brown yellow wire and the negative on the black/blue wire, and it works. It doesn’t come on until the engine is started, and goes off immediately on engine shut-down. Thanks for all the options!
