Fitted the 18+ active exhaust. For the time being I have cut the standard valance as I can’t decide wether to fit the roush valance or a 18+ rear bumper.

90mm BBK throttle body arrived as I was doing the exhaust so this got bolted on too.

Next few weeks the Edelbrock CAI along with a smaller pulley will be arriving and the car will get re-tuned and hopefully get close to 800bhp but more realistic 750/760

Had a cool Mustang moment yesterday...

Was driving the girlfriend over to Edgeware, so a long boring motorway drive mostly. After driving past Watford I came to a roundabout to join the M1, nice & chilled as I got in to the correct lane. All of a sudden - angry woman in mini appears out of nowhere behind me - super close. Obviously a little peed that I was in the lane she wanted to be in & blocking her progress, thought not much of it.

As we pull on to the slip road, she darted in to the inside lane and floors it. Oh no you don't lady! I had to unleash the coyote :muscle: she got ahead of me to begin with, girlfriend pointed out it was a cooper s, pretty nippy, but no match for the 5.0 - was soon past her and on to the motorway. I recall the comments in the car "it's not a race Kristian!" "yea, not one she's gunna win!" :cwl: normally the missus wouldn't be too happy with me, but I think she was impressed with the victory :sunglasses:

Moments after - I kid you not, red arrows in formation wen't overhead! (obviously for the race win). May see if I can pull said clip of the dashcam if it's not been overwritten yet

The end
Just think, you probably would've struggled in the EB. :cwl:

Keeping hold of it for now until I have few miles on the new one. Just want to make sure it runs ok first.

Just had the car ceramic coated, rear windows tinted in Dark Smoke 35% light transmission, swapped the side badges for matt black ones and changed the interior lights for LED ones.

Picked up the car from a Ford Approved body shop this morning where it's been for the last four days having its front wing corrosion dealt with. I'd patiently waited 10 weeks on Ford approving (or not) the warranty claim with only a couple of phone calls but kinda lost patience at that point and called the CRC who after a bit of cajoling gave me a reference to escalate the claim. Three days later claim approved. Car went in and after a bit of rubbing down they discovered the wings were pitted and as a result they couldn't guarantee the issue wouldn't re-occur. A local body shop had said as much three months earlier. Consequently they're going back to Ford with the recommendation that both wings be replaced. Anyhoo, sorted for now.

Fitted it's new wheels back on and committed a crime against good taste by fitting caliper covers on the rear. The original plan was to paint the front and get covers for the fugly rear calipers. I thought the body shop would paint the fronts however they weren't much up for that so still need to get them done. I'm not fitting the covers to the front so will have them up for sale shortly at a knock down price...

What are wings? Gonna be pissed if you get flying Mustangs in the UK.

I had my Grills replaced and bumper repaired last week after a pigeon/bumper interface that cracked the bumper.
