I have the Roush catback and I think it sounds pretty nice. Subdued when putting around town and gets very loud on throttle, only complaint I have is that I wish the tips were bigger but overall I'm happy with the system. it's also about $600 cheaper than the Borla Atak catback which was the...
Not related to the Phase 2 kit, but I just got my Phase 1 calibration updated (I believe an update came out a few weeks ago). Don't think there is more power but the shift points and throttle response have been improved quite a bit, I'd say this is a bigger improvement from the 1st to 2nd...
Currently at around 14500 miles w/ ROUSH Phase 1 SC and tune. Had my driver's side cat replaced at around ~8300 miles when I got a check engine light with the the code P0430 "Catalyst System Efficiency below threshold on Bank 2". No issues since then.
Currently at a little over 14,000 daily driven miles on my GT. I had the ROUSH supercharger installed at around 2000 miles. I get full synthetic Motorcraft 5w-50 oil changes done every 5000 miles/6 months and have the "tick" although I am positive it's just an operating characteristic of the...
Although I don't have a GT350, I did take my GT to see the movie tonight. It's pretty lengthy but overall a fantastic movie even if you aren't a Ford guy. I highly recommend seeing it in a large format theater such as IMAX, Cinemark XD, or anywhere that features Dolby Atmos because of the sound...
+1 on the quality of drivability on the Roush stock tune. The main thing I'd like to see on the next tune update is improvements to the shift schedule in Sport and Sport+. Still isn't as smooth as the Ford factory tune but other than that it's pretty solid for a street daily driver.
Wow that is a lot of carbon fiber! Interesting to see Ford Performance CF parts as well. I'm just imagining that rear spoiler and gurney flap on my GT...
I don't have experience with the PS4s but from my understanding they don't have the full bite that a summer only high performance tire like the PS4 would have but still deliver solid grip in wet and try conditions. They will also perform better in colder weather since they are all seasons after all.
I did not get the run flats, didn't even realize they were offered actually. I got mine ordered and installed through Sams Club (they are currently running a $70 off 4 Michelin tires if you are a member)
I can see why they are charging for the new radiator, but will the next calibration update be paid as well? Or is it only available if you purchase the new radiator? So far the calibration updates alone have been provided free of charge.
After about 13,000 miles on the stock Pirelli PZero Nero A/S tires, my rears hit 3/32” of tread and needed replacement, but I figured I’ll replace all 4 at once. I never really liked the P Zeroes and always struggled to get grip, wet or dry. I decided to give the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ a shot since...
It's not that great of a card because of the tiers for cash back. It's 3% cash back for Apple purchases (Apple Store, App Store, iTunes), 2% back for all other purchases via Apple Pay (in-store or in-app), and 1% for all purchases made with the physical card. Apple Pay has pretty strong adoption...
I've had the Phase 1 kit for a little over a year, excellent driveability and performance with the latest tune. I'm still running the mid 2018 hardware so cooling isn't too great, I'm seeing IATs of around 117 degrees Fahrenheit with a ambient heat index of around 105 - 107 degrees Fahrenheit...
I've had it for a little over a year, solid so far. The initial ROUSH tune wasn't very good but the latest revision was a major improvement. Like jmtoast mentioned, when paired with the A10 it's pretty damn fast. Small note, but be ready to have more frequent oil changes as well as a heavier oil...
Makes sense. I haven’t driven the car particularly hard recently but maybe it was residual damage that led up to the cat failing. Hopefully the dealer knows why it failed. Thanks for the insight though.
Its possible it’s tune related, but I’m still running the latest Roush tune which has a CARB E.O so I’d think it would be friendly towards the factory cats.
