ADM's will be short lived due to production. Chevy is doubling production of the vette so after the initial wave of people who have to have it at launch, the cars dealers order for stock will be very abundant.
Anyone have specifics on what the suspension changes consist of for the 2019 models? I know stiffer front springs and softer tears but by how much? Also are the dampers different or just a software update for how they are controlled?
On the surface it seems without any change to the rear...
I would caution you on the same cause you can’t see inside the motor. After seeing many motors out of cars I can tell you first hand that there’s a lot of potential for premature wear due to a very small amount of things left inside from a previous motor, the tech not being meticulous about...
I was wondering what people plan to do when their warranty expires since several people should be coming up on theirs soon. With the cost of these motors being high and the rate people have had them replaced under warranty I am wondering if a lot of people plan to sell, seek out a third party...
Search “Shelby exotics” on YouTube. He has a bunch of videos following him fighting with ford on it and in one of them he shows where the vin is. He has a few gt350’s And 350r’s and goes into some of the shortcomings of the voodoo motor for a track motor and has gotten to the point where he will...
So from what I gathered off a few videos of guys getting replacement motors, Ford said the motor wasn’t serialized to the chassis. However when people pulled motors they found that to not be true and the vin was on the motor.
As a buyer I won’t touch a GT350/r with a replacement motor. Not due...
Should be interesting to see how the gt500 affects those numbers. I’d expect nation wide it will jump at least a hundred units or more. Will that be enough to affect resale value though? Who knows.
Except for IF they did that, they would have just detuned the non R from where it's at.
I personally think they should have set the r further sort with more suspension stuff. Maybe coilovers and carbon ceramic breaks. The peak hp really shouldn't be a huge talking point on a track focused...
I'm in the market for a gt350 and I wouldn't buy a brand new 16' tech pack for 5k under msrp let alone only a grand under.
I don't know what you have to trade in but I'll take a guess that you'll be able to sell it for at least $1500 more private party than what you would get on trade in. Take...
Are you guys noticing any difference in feel for street driving? I would assume as the oem lines get older there would be noticeable differences but how about on newer lines?
I do t doubt that at all. I have owned cars before that have been absolutely transformed with the old tried and true apr wing and splitter. I'd hate to ruin the asthetics of the gt350 with a apr wing but it's certainly a cheap and easy solution for those looking to replicate r performance...
I agree. I had the same issues with selling my cts-v. I have seen the same cars posted on this forum also posted on CL, Facebook, and auto trader though.
As someone in the potential market for purchasing one, I just find it interesting to watch market trends. The trends I see with this car...
I'm not following dealer listings very much just for that reason. Private sales are more of a interest to me. No reason to call names just cause you don't agree with me.
Look at the classified here. There is three or four 2017's all listed for under 55k and have been for sale on here as well...
