Ford Fiesta

I have a dealer loaner Fiesta that I was driving today. Pretty much have to floor it to get it to move at a decent pace. I rented a Fiesta a couple of years ago and that car definitely had more pep.
I’m pretty sure the engine is the same but I wonder if the automatic transmission might be different. The gearing seems to be ridiculously tall.
