  1. Whipple Customer Service

Recently I was having my first issue with my car (16-GT-Whipple astage 2) after 10k of trouble free supercharged miles. Pull the codes, it turns out the computer thinks the throttlebody is stuck open. I went to ford, purchased the new electronic components and put it back in my 132 mm...

Soon! Hey guys. I dropped off my 2016 GT PP Manual car with a recently installed stage 2 package from Whipple. I dropped it off on 8/2/16 and have heard from Dustin that they have been able to reproduce the issue. Please trust that Dustin has his best people working to find a solution...

New Cal Bump What's the latest? I heard Whipple has a new calibration in the works to resolve the issue but they are waiting for Ford to bless it.
  8. What is a high IAT?

I have a whipple stage 2 installed with the dual fan upgrade. While waiting in a drive thru I noticed on the gauge cluster the IAT (Intake Air Temp) got up to and stayed around 123-124 degrees. Within a quarter of a block it dropped back to 90. Should I be concerned? Also while we...
  9. Happy Beta Tester of Whipple's Hesitation Fix

Well, as a few others have mentioned, Whipple is aware there is a "hiccup" or "hesitation" issue that is thought to be caused by the Bypass valve shutting too quickly when moving into boost from a vacuum. I pleaded with the guys at Whipple and they decided to add me to the list of lucky beta...

  11. Whipple Stage 2 So Cal Tuner/Dyno Recomendation?

Thanks man. I guess it's possible that the fix could get it done but if everyone keeps saying how smooth the power is and mine isn't it just makes me wonder what I did wrong :( PM me with details? :)
  12. Whipple Stage 2 So Cal Tuner/Dyno Recomendation?

It's $120 in gas and 4 hour drive each way. What if I get up there and they want to keep it for a few days? Or worse, they say "no problem here! That's normal!" Then I just drive 4 hours back? Lol That would be brutal. I dunno. I have to go to Taiwan all next week. I was hoping to resolve...
  13. Whipple Stage 2 So Cal Tuner/Dyno Recomendation?

I recently completed a stage two kit with my dad. It is running the stock tune from Whipple. The Whipple hardware and the customer service has been amazing. The performance, awesome. The driveability? Could use some work. I am hoping someone in San Diego or Riverside could meet up...
  14. Whipple Final Concerns Post Install

Belt walk solved The guys from Whipple sent me three new pulleys as well as a new belt. I swapped everything out and the walk is gone! I remain concerned about the dead spot at or around 2800 RPMs as reported by others in this thread. How on earth would I even know what I could have done...

New Belt and Pulleys on the way Many thanks to all of you who have chimed in here. What an awesome community. I must say. Whipple has really stepped up to the plate. Every time I have needed advice they were available on the phone. Anytime I needed a replacement part has come next day...
  16. Whipple Final Concerns Post Install

Logs? I have heard people talk about sending their "logs" (ECU / Not brown) to whipple to verify the tune is working properly. How can I see such logs? Is it just a log of the AFR? I wonder if by looking at it I could see a flat spot in the tune. Running stock whipple tune.

Update Thanks for letting me know the "surge" is normal. I am having so much fun with this thing. Here is a video of the walk. [ame] I already removed all three idler pulleys and checked everything then retorqued. I have looked close at the belt but will make sure they are...

  19. Help with Whipple Stage 2 Install

My Dad and I are doing the install and so far it has gone pretty well. Unfortunately, while some steps have multiple pictures, others have none while using unique acronyms. Right now, I am stuck on step 121. "Connect the previously installed ACT pigtail to the ACT sensor located on the...
