My dealer has offered to deliver the mustang to my door using trade plates so I can fit the number plates in my garage. He is having one of his staff follow to drive him back to the dealership and it's a 60km round trip for him. I'm impressed because it was his idea not mine.

What was the insured value Goff? I got an online quote from NRMA for $50,000 insured value for $765 with an $850 excess including windscreen replacement. I haven't gone over the policy to see what's included yet.

Re the black roof: Tell Ford you want the car as ordered and have them spray the roof black at their expense. They have a cutoff date for changes and it works both ways. It's not an unreasonable request. Make sure it's done before you take delivery. Organise it to be done as soon as the car...

Here's the Ford Racing strut. The K brace can be seen attached to the strut towers and running behind the engine. From this angle it looks like a seatbelt.

Go for it. Matt black and gloss black are different colours when side by side, if you don't like the gloss black pinstripes you can easily change them.

Do the taillights (inner red) stop flashing when the brakes are applied at the same time the blinkers are on? I want to be wrong but I recall reading the taillights aren't allowed to blink.
