Can someone who's driven both explain the differences between the cars?

I'm considering the 3.55 for the v6, as many have told me it improves acceleration. What I would like to know is if there is any reliable data out there to prove that it's faster than the standard gear ratio, i.e. 0-60, quarter mile, etc.

What about manual? Acceleration differences should be the same regardless of trans type correct?

Does the 3.55 gear ratio increase acceleration by a significant amount? Also, what kind of losses to top speed are incurred by selecting it?

So you built it yourself? Thats actually really impressive. And I dont think i would be able to do that if i had a guide lol. Is there anything that can be bought/installed thats similar to what you did?

Can any owners tell me how realistic the difference is? All ford says on their website is that city mpg is better on auto, and i can't really trust what they claim after seeing owner mpg reports

ford says that the auto trans will get 2 mpg better in the city than the manual. Can any owners tell me how realistic this is?

I read somewhere that Ford detuned the v6 to make the ecoboost look better. If that is the case, how much hp could we potentially see from a tune?

Is there any news on tunes being offered in the future? I've heard about tunes for the ecoboost and gt, but not so much the v6.

What kind of gains did you guys get on your stangs?

Stock is 3.31, PP is 3.73, and an optional one is 3.55. What's the real difference with these?:shrug::shrug:
