Personally I wouldn't supercharge a 350 you add weight to the nose, screw up the balance, the rpms would fall, and the motor wouldn't rev as freely, and all of those things are what makes the car unique it would be counterproductive not to mention there's going to be issues with clearance that...
I think ITBs would be a much more appropriate and unique mod for the GT350 they would increase all the strong points of the FPC setup higher red line faster revving and more power plus it would sound incredible
(I had a picture but it failed to upload) did anyone catch the Terlingua badge underneath the GT350 badge behind the fender vents I thought it was a really cool piece of Shelby history anyone know if there's a chance of it making production
That's what I'm thinking they probably have a different driver mode selected for each video, or another possibility is the car idling in the teaser Is the GT350R hence the more aggressive idle
I think ford will release lap times I mean they did so with the Boss they went out and set a goal to beat the M3 around a track and when they were successful they had to prove it why would they not do that with the GT350 this car is supposed to be a track car Ford will want to validate that...
I agree ford has made a platform to build on I would not be shocked if ford is leaving a good 50-60 hp in just the tune and exhaust alone they won't max it out so it can be used in future models like a potential GT or a forced induction GT500
I know this thread isn't about HP but this quote here got me thinking the R model is positioned to take on the Z/28 that would put the base GT350 in the same position of the lineup as the Zl1 in the camaros lineup do yall think it's possible ford set the Z/28 as its target for lap times but the...
The whole front end has different dimensions from the gt lower wider fenders then there's the fender vents a new hood and a new carbon fiber front fascia with a new spoiler they did more to this cars front end than they did the GT500
The boss 302 could 0-60 in 3.9 - 4 second range this has a much better suspension better launch control and more power than that car this car will be sub 4 second easily how far under 4 will depend on the weight my best guess though will be 3.7
If the motor is 5.2 L FPC and that is a huge if as it would be the biggest FPC V8 ever hp ratings between 550 and 600 are possible FPC motors are very efficient and are capable of easily achieving that magic 100 hp per liter ratio look at the 458 for example it's a 4.5 L making 570 hp in base...
I completely agree I would like to see a car that's stripped back and spartan I love that race car for the street vibe, being a crazy young guy though comfort just isn't high on my list of priorities
