Still on the fence between the two. Which Mustang seat should I get with the GT PP? I like the weight savings of the Recaros. But am also fond of the creature features of the standard seats. Which ones are you all thinking is the way to go?

How did the GT compare to your C7 before you supercharged it? I am coming from a C6Z06 with a cam and tune. I dont expect similar seat of pants feel but would like some thrills hehe

The feel of an MGW is worth the money even if performance gains are negligible. You have to own one to understand the feel and build quality is second to none. For me, once I went to MGW I couldnt use the stock shifter anymore. Its how it should come from the factory.

In my C6Z, I installed a MGW shifter. They are actually not too hard, just getting the interior trim apart is the tricky thing. Dont know how Fords are, but the Vette was all clips, plugs and screws and was pretty straight forward for even me. So I would assume there'll be instructions like...

Ah the dreams I had in college to one day finish my degree, save everything for the first year and but a Corvette C6Z. I did just that and more and now Im 26 looking at a 5.0 and a retirement account instead of a new C7Z. Priorities came into play there, but you're doing things the right way...

Ill be purchasing mine cash. But used...;) You don't get money by being frivolous with it. Ill let these kids pay the premium, and take the new car plunge. Besides, its used the second you buy it anyways.

I absolutely LOVED your shifter for the C6Z!!!! Made the car feel like cocking back a shotgun every time you shifted gears :D Cant wait to put this to the test!

Do we know for sure if the recaros are lighter? A 3,6xx GT with some bolt ons sounds mighty nice to me!

Its weird reading about times in the 12.xx range in the 1/4 and 0-60 times above 4 secs when I used to drive this lol Not to mention weights in the 3,600-3,800 range. Still looking forward to my 5.0!

Im going to drive in the mode that gives the best "seat of the pants" feel and throttle response. So Im assuming track mode. If youre worried about getting in a accident, you shouldnt be driving, let alone a $40,000 5.0

I just sold my Z06 and am looking at a blue 5.0 mustang. Ive never driven a Mustang before, and wanted to take the new one for a spin bc I plan on buying one next year. When will they be on dealer lots to drive? Or some estimate..

Do these void the power train warranty, and if so, how reliable is the power they make?
