Weird stuff. I have been mucking around over the past while with the shift tables in Normal and Sport. I got it pretty good but I wanted to delay the upshift into 10th and down shift to 9th a little more. So I started playing around with the 9-10 shift area. And then I thought, why not just...
Looking for a full synthetic without additive. All of the amsoil options have the additive. Red Line has two flavors, 75W90 and 140. Says the 75 is ultra light like ATF. Suggestions?
There was a post awhile back regarding setting the parameters so that you can lock the active exhaust to a particular mode (Sport, Track) regardless of drive mode. PCMtech has more parameters than HP tuners.
There are 10 tables related to quiet mode, normal mode, sport mode, track mode. That...
Does anyone know the thread size for the zerk fittings on Steedas rear stabilizer links? The upper one is straight and points right at the coil spring. No way to get a grease gun on it. Inwant to replace them with 90s.
I sent them an email and they say they dont know. Baring that I'll have to...
I think I have asked this before. Got somewhat of an answer but still baffled by what the various letters mean beside the gear number with HP Tuners and PCMtec. Sometime you se something like 1A-2A, or 1A-2M, or 1A to 2R. What exactly do these letters represent? I know it isnt automatic...
Is it as simple as just changing the driven wheel circumfrance data? My speedo is 2-3km/hrs (1.8 mph) faster than the GPS is indicating at 100km/hrs (60mph). Is it worth even bothering?

Might be going back to oem cats from the gesi stuff I fabbed up to the oem headers. I had to weld on a new flange to match up flange I put on the header.
Much tig welding and massaging to get the non round cat inlet to match the flange.
How does the substrate look to you guys. If you had...
Over the winter, I did some heavy fabricating on a set of 2m catless 3" front section and welded in Gesi Green Cats. These connect to the stock manifolds. After two months, it tripped 4020 and 4030. The whole goal was to keep the emissions stuff while using better Cats on a supercharged...
Turns out these things are lock nuts. Manual says initial torque 17 lb.ft then 24 lb.ft. is that plus the torque it takes to turn the nut or less the torque it takes or is it including?
Anyone know what material and guage the stock oem headers are made of? I suspect 409 since it rusts. Going to weld a 3/8 flange onto the drivers side. Just getting the fill wire and welder settings sorted out.
Well The swap over from stock oem cats to g force epa approved cats had begun. Bought the cat delete pipes from 2m Fabricators and tig welded the cats in. Phase 2 us where it gets tricky. Welding the flange onto the header. I think in order to do the job right, it has to come off.
Further to my Ratiotek question. With this kit, it gives you the option to firm up the converter lock up. They recommend changing the lock up so it's at 5th gear.
I looked this up on PCMTek. There is a lock up section divided into every drive mode Ford has. I believe the ones I'm interested...
Why I ask. I'm thinking of doing the RatioTek reprogramming kit. There are two holes they want you to drill into the lower half of the valve body, which appears to be at the A and E solenoid channels. Any enlighten me as to what these holes do (pressure reduction. Speeds up fluid dumping?)...
So I understand Base is normal. Sport is sport. Drag is apparently Sand. There is a snow mode so I assume snow is snow. I'm also assuming mud is Track. There is definitely a difference when switching from 0, to Alt1 to Alt 2. What makes me wonder is that in Track mode, it wont downshift to...
If one wanted to eliminate the skip shift in normal mode on the 10R80 with PCMtec, would it be as simple as setting the rpm to 10000 on each skip shift column in table AuF67261? Asking for a friend.
