I have a 19 A10 car with 3.55 gears and an E-Charger. In sport mode, the car shifting itself... it shuts down at 120-121mph BEFORE the shift at 6,600 rpm. It falls on it's face and THEN shifts to 7th. I honestly thought 7th was an over drive until I researched it and seen that 7th was 1:1...
Drag setup on the car. TPMS hates life. Tire shop tested the sensors before they put them in the new wheels. They were fine, now that they are on the car... they can't get them to activate. Their fancy tool doesn't even recognize them in the wheels. Sigh. I bought a 4 pack... they are...
My advice... get it checked out NOW... don't wait until it's too late to address. Breaking extra stuff because you kept driving it after hearing such a noise is tough to get places to want to warranty it. Make a quick video, send it to Edelbrock and see what they recommend. Just my $.02.
I was on a 91 tune... now on the 93. Heading back to the track as soon as I can. I just have a lot going on.... single dad life. My car is definitely a lot more aggressive on this new tune.
Yes, the fitting isn't bad at all to put in and hook up. Approach it from the passenger side, there is a nice hole in between the braces for your arm and a small mirror. I struggled the most with the damn 3 nuts on the gas pedal. THAT was not fun. lol
Thanks! I usually make boring training videos for O'Reilly Auto. I'm trying to step outside the box a bit and have a little fun. More to come as I can finally data log my car with boost information. Dyno and better track times coming!
I started with a gator back. They replaced it with a Continental. I actually found Gates has an RPM line of belts designed for superchargers that isn't a bad price at all for me to get through O'Reilly. I may try that next. I'm dying to get data too. It'll help keep me from guessing on...
The car was on the 91 tune... I was sent a new belt from Edelbrock, and a new tune from LFP. Still trying to get the datalogging with boost to work. Then I'm headed to a dyno and back to the track. 93 tune is MUCH better. When someone else posted a 58hp gain from the 91 to 93 tune, I believe...
I have to get my dataloging working first. Not much time to mess with the car here lately. Single dad life. Hopefully tonight we figure out the boost box settings. I'm still curious what boost I'm making. lol
I'm only a stage 1, but my definitely cuts power on 2-4 shifts if I leave traction control on and I'm at WOT. THEN it's like a bucking bronco as the tires are trying to haze and the computer is trying to stop it. lol
I'm not overly concerned about it... but it is embarrassing when at a car show and everyone wants to hear how quiet the supercharger is. Kinda gives everyone a bad taste in their mouth. You hear a lot of "uh, oh" comments.
