In less than 3 years, I WILL be running an e85 setup. Not 30 degrees of timing... but more than 12.5. It's much easier to get and our 93 here has ethanol in it and sucks. You'll see that when I finish my dyno video. lol
This spring when the track opens back up we will be putting my car head to head with an 2018 GT PP1 A10 car that is N/A on an E85 tune with a much more aggressive transmission settings. It should be interesting to see what his 30 degrees of timing is compared to my 12.5. lol
My drivability is fine. Has been on every tune (and I've had a few from them) lol I'm actually driving with the boost delay pill out now. There is a tiny hiccup occasionally on a mild half throttle acceleration during the shifting. But honestly it's nothing to cry about. I haven't experienced...
Well your tire chirping certainly tells a lot. Mine doesn't even have drag mode and comes no where near your shift aggressiveness. When people get excited about my A10 it's just because of the number of shifts not the firmness. lol
I'll try it when I can... I've been sent a new tune to try, but it was before I had sent them my data logs. I'm kinda waiting to see if they want to make any more changes before I make a trip to Mexico. In the meantime, I've posted up in a thread about this issue to see if maybe someone else...
Would that show up in a data log? I'd be more than happy to send them to you. My NT05R were at 20psi. If it had spun I would have lowered them. I didn't upload all my runs. I can confirm when I get home and count my time slips, but I think I made 10 passes? The reason the car spun at the...
I do not. The reason is, when I mention it... it's either ignored, or I'm told to just turn off advance track. I will ask (in writing) like I do with every mod I've done so far. Honestly, if that would fix the 6th gear limiter thing... it would be a great work around for me. Or if it would...
I haven't bashed anything. I'm giving real world data. Documenting it all along the way. But I'm willing to try it. Send whoever you want my way. I'll let them make a pass as long as Edelbrock is cool with covering whatever magical ability they are using and I can document the whole thing...
I've heard a gear change may not fix this. I'm not against a gear change. I plan on running quicker after the warranty runs out and I can switch to E85 as it's much easier to get here than 93.
Irony is the 120mph. That's where mine shuts down. 120-121 I've had it wait until 123 once at the track and once on the dyno. What gears and tune are you running?
