The lights are a little too dirty to tell IMO, but it looks like it has a GT hood, a GT grill and EB PP wheels? That car could be pretty much anything underneath
I'm betting this motor will have forged internals, I just hope they didn't shave to much material off of them trying to lighten them up for the high rev's. Which could prevent them from holding up to a lot more power, if the lower end is beefy enough these things should be monsters with boost.
The electrical systems now are much more network focused, so if your radar detector is constantly pinging the CAN network it could be keeping modules awake.
I wonder if the new cylinder head castings in the GT's 5.0 trickled down from the 5.2 development, and that's why they really needed to bring back the IMRC system to aid in port velocity for such a free breathing head that was intended for a high revving FPC monster.
just a thought.
Nitrogen fills are mostly smoke and mirrors anyhow, if you look at a pamphlet on why you should pay $40 for it, it will say "well you'll save hundreds of dollars a year on fuel!!". But the fine print will say "compared to an underinflated tire".
it is more stable on pressure variance, but...
Agreed, that cover looks far too familiar, if there was DI you'd likely see evidence of it in that photo.
at this point there isn't much reason to expect anything but the rumored NA 5.2L, the big mystery is really what crank was used.
It's not that the PP doesn't include enough, it just makes more sense to me that the ability to put it in "track mode" isn't tied into the package.
seems odd you can have an optioned up premium with all the extra weight and put it in track mode, but if you have a lighter base model with the...
Ahh ok, so it's not the fact that the two panels are the same, but that there's a possibility of having a cleaner finish lurking underneath.
on a somewhat related note, having a PP GT and adding a supercharger would make the vacuum gauge irrelevent, anybody looked into dropping the eco's boost...
This is exactly how I felt about it, a toggle switches to select "track mode" should be part of the performance package, not the $4K "bells and whistles" premium package.
I thought the PP dash has two gauges and two HVAC registers, and the non-PP dash has three HVAC registers. Which would require two entirely different panels.
Typically, there will be a dealership employee checking the vehicles for shipping damage as they come off the truck, or they will be dropped after hours and noted to be inspected later.
Traditionally, the car will then be given to a Certified Technician to perform most of the Pre-Delivery...
