I'm sure Hypercoil can accommodate that. Just make sure you've got the suspension brains (dampers) to match. I went with the mismatched combo before anyone had coilovers for the 550 (lowering springs with stock PP dampers). Not a pleasant driving experience.
Using 300lb front and 400lb rear right now. Car feels great if you're just doing some spirited driving. If you're competitively tracking or doing cones I would certainly go a bit higher.
I call it oscillation. Mine was bad stock. With more power and springs only (before coilovers) the car was really unsettling to drive even a little aggressively. It's taken some upgrades but car now handles in a predictable manner even when pushed hard. Coilovers really helped but all of these...
The Roush tunes are also conservative. Case in point... Brenspeed has lots of drag cars. One is a 16 Stage three Roush auto with drag radials, skinnies, drag shocks, rollcage, etc. that came with the 727 tune and ran 11.0's at 125 (car is over 4100 lbs.) with their tune car went 10.2's 10.3's in...
Relatively. When running OK it will light them up though. Just a great all around tire and not bad in the rain as well. That said, certainly not the tire I'd buy if my primary concern was hooking. Great tire for all around use.
I've had the 627, 670, and now the 727 tune. Car runs fine at times but is prone to limp mode, sometimes during normal driving. Frustrating for sure, particularly when revisions don't seem any better.
I also have a 21 foot Ranger bass boat and an incurable fishing habit which I refer to as a hole in the water I throw money in. If you don't have the money that's fine, but I've always felt sorry for folks who have it and are afraid to have a little fun. I work with senior citizens daily and a...
Most "investment" cars are poor investments. You've got a much better chance of a decent return if you study the market and make sound investments instead of plopping down 5k+ for a hemi Mopar or SCJ in the 60's. That being said, I've spent approximately the original purchase price in mods and...
Something else to consider if the spacers don't help. Not sure what power level you're at but the combo of 600+rwhp and aftermarket springs with my stock PP dampers made for a scary car. Under power the rear of the car would oscillate under acceleration and curves were downright scary. Upgrading...
I had Steeda's and PP dampers while waiting for the coilovers to come to market. I don't recommend it. Stance was nice but handling was blah. The IRS in these cars is nice but if you're going to the track or just some nice spirited corner carving I would look to upgrade the rear cradle (locking...
Manual. Part of my problem is likely O2 related. Catless ARH headers are obviously causing mixed signals, but I know several who are actively waiting for a Brenspeed tune (they've done a bunch of phase 2 cars) because they're having the same issues on stock exhaust and catback cars. Brenspeed...
If you are running Ok under phase 1 I would just stay there. Phase 2 has issues for most of us. Car feels a little stronger but goes into limp mode at inopportune times. I've had all three Roush tunes and don't like any of them and Roush, though they say they are working on it, seems not to be...
