I do not have anything written but with all the troubles I've had so far I can't see why they would doubt me. As I already have a ticket open a mile long because of UPS. I also think that lmr paying for the repair is the best move but what are the chances? Or maybe they refund me, I already have...
So this is has been a long and annoying ordeal and all the fun of ordering rims has been destroyed now.
I ordered rims from LMR on july 2nd. I get half the order after 2 week, UPS lost the other half but tracking would say in transit, delay blah blah. Contacted LMR, their customer service has...
Haha yea I get it, I guess it was a poor attempt at humor. For me, the sounds of night are best heard not driving so I probably wouldn't bother with quiet anything, plus the louder I am the less likely to road kill.... I'm also from the country so the sounds of night aren't very novel to me...
Pretty easy, I was annoyed having to take my wheels off to install the rears. I was expecting to have to enlarge a metal hole to 5/16th" only to find it was plastic so enlarging the hole took a whole 2 seconds. Fit it great, very subtle too and that is what I wanted. Wife didn't even notice what...
Wouldn't that still be fast? I had an '85 GT making 328rwhp and it ran 11.23@121. Just not the safest for a family car so it had to go. God I miss my 85.
Wouldn't the effect of the lighter wheels on a dyno be noticed by recording the time it takes to go from 3k (or any starting rpm) to redline? then just double that gain? so if it hits red line 0.02s quicker, on the street you will be hitting red line 0.04s quicker?
I worded that incorrectly. I meant I was planning to throw a procharger on and leave everything stock but if there is no drop in mpg I will throw a ported '18 mani on at the same time
No drop in mpg? I wonder why ford even has them
Has anyone noticed a drop in mpg with city/hwy cruising with the lockouts? I was planning to just throw a procharger on but if there is no loss in mpg with the lockouts I may just throw a ported '18 on since it isn't very expensive (much cheaper than a GT350 mani too)
