  1. Worth getting the extended warranty? 2017 GT/CS

Oh I didn't know the power train came with 100k/5y. It has a catback already. I'm adding a few steeda suspension parts (stop wheel hop kit) and thinking about an '18 intake/pmas cai/tune. That would be it. My computer had a hiccup already. I had my phone paired and wasn't able to skip to the...
  2. Worth getting the extended warranty? 2017 GT/CS

So I purchased a used 2017 GT/CS back in september from a hyundai dealership and it came with the base 3 year, 60k km warranty, My warranty will be up this september, I'm debating buy the extended as I just found out you can buy extended warranties. I think I saw that there is one for 8 years...
  3. I F*&^%$# hate winter

This is the exact reason I bought my 17 GT/CS over an 04 termi. I wouldn't take that termi for winter DD'ing here in montreal and 04's still catch the rust a bit (although far more resistant than previous generations) meanwhile the S550 has more corrosion resistant metal, snow/wet mode, easier...
  4. Barton/ hydrid 3 vs stock height difference? Pics?

No, the parking lot is ice slush and crap and I don't have my jacking rails yet, not to mention my jack is at my in laws and they have 0 driveway space because they store a trailer and have a tempo. Taking apart the console took like 15min anyways. but alas, it's just a stock shifter with...
  5. Barton/ hydrid 3 vs stock height difference? Pics?

The oem lockout collar is plastic? I guess the stock it's painted chrome? After seeing your pic that height looks similar to mine. I may have to take apart my console and look now. unfortunately I can't get out to look at it until late tonight. It's been driving me crazy all day haha
  6. Barton/ hydrid 3 vs stock height difference? Pics?

Is there a height difference between the stock and barton hybrid 3 shifter? Im asking because i think my '17 gt may have an upgraded shifter. I'm inclined to think so because it shifts smooth and precise and ive never been locked out. I've owned it since septembet, came with a borla s catback...
  7. Michelin pilot sport A/S 3+ straight line traction?

Factory summer tire? I'm coming from the crappy pirelli Pzero Nero all season tires. I read the michelin A/S 3+ get nearly as good traction as the michelin summer 4S. Only thing that doesn't tell me anything about traction from a dig
  8. Michelin pilot sport A/S 3+ straight line traction?

I was debating on the g force comp 2 A/S also.
  9. Michelin pilot sport A/S 3+ straight line traction?

Changed direction and going with firehawk indy 500s now.
  10. Oil catch can in winter/ long term sub zero temps

From what I have read/seen they catch a mix of oil and water/vapor and the water can freeze in there. You can find pictures of it on google
  11. '15-17 1/4 mile times with 2018 mani/cai/catback/tune. No LTH

What is a flex fuel tune? Full e85? or utilizes ethanol when it's detected? sometimes hard to find 93 here and some 91s here now have up to 10-15% ethanol. 93/94 is straight gas, no ethanol added.
  12. Oil catch can in winter/ long term sub zero temps

Any problems with these in winter with long term subzero temps? I drive my '17 GT in the winter a bit. I was thinking about grabbing a Bob's CC but haven't decided yet because I drive in winter also. Don't bother with suggesting a beater, I have a beater but sometimes the wife needs the beater...
  13. '15-17 1/4 mile times with 2018 mani/cai/catback/tune. No LTH

Well not really what I'm looking for but that is a weird video. Every dyno I've seen of a 15-17 with an '18 manifold gained a ton of power everywhere. Maybe it's because it wasn't tuned? Anyways, hoping for some 1/4 mile comparisons with just bolt-ons and an 18' mani/tune/cb/cai
  14. '15-17 1/4 mile times with 2018 mani/cai/catback/tune. No LTH

Looking for some track times with the 18 mani on a 15-17. I've found full bolt on/tune/LTH and stock manifold 15-17s running low 11s with a tire. I was wondering how the 18 manifolds, ported or stock, do on the track with the usual bolt-ons/tune but no LTHs
