Yea I wondered if it was just the tread height causing the softness in response. I just know it doesn't feel like it did with the new P Zeros.
I also notice the traction control kicks in on some curves. Never had that on just a curve with the P Zeros.
So I put a pair of Conti DSW06 on the rear to replace the worn P Zeros that came with the car. Front still has the P Zeros with some tread. I noticed that when I did some test swerving the tail end felt sluggish. The car didn't feel as precise and planted as when I had the P Zeros on back...
Hey Sid I'd be curious to know how much more you like your GT over your EB. I have a 15 EB and I love it, but I could see the day when I may want to take the power leap. Was it worth it to you, and why?
Thanks
I take it pretty easy on tires. No burn out or donuts. Like taking curves and corners aggressively. I plan on sticking with A/S because I drive it well into Dec. before changing to my winter car.
Funny you mention the BFG G-Force Comp 2 A/S. I was just on the phone with Dunn Tire locally...
So I just passed 20k miles on my Stang and I'm replacing my nearly worn out rear tires (Pirellis P zeros). I've been pretty easy on them and thought I'd get more than 20k out of them. I'm doing some research and I thought I'd get some opinions here.
I'm looking for all seasons that last and have...
Just got back from having my PCM updated by my dealer. I stopped in out of the blue and asked the service guy if he'd gotten the update. He checked OASIS and saw that there is one. Took about 20 minutes and I was out of there. CEL hadn't been on for about a month and now hopefully it's gone for...
I have no allignment issues, but a number of us have check engine lights that come on intermittently due to a false misfire code. Supposedly it's also a software glitch that will be corrected with an update. Had no idea that allignment has a software profile.
Don't expect Ford to be in any hurry. There isn't even a TSB out about it. They probably see it as a harmless annoyance to the customer that will get fixed when they're ready to update the software.
Mine came on last night after 18 days. I posted just yesterday that I wouldn't be surprised. Not gonna let it bug me. Patience, my friends, patience...
Just an update:
My cel has been off for 18 days/1500 miles. Done nothing to the car. It had been going on and off for several days at a time for about a month before that. Wondering if the software "learned" to ignore the faulty misfire signal that made the cel come on. Runs great.
