Gas isn't really a concern, but it's part of the equation. Considering the hit I'll take when I sell my Eco and the insurance increase, it just made me wonder if the fun of owning the GT will be worth it. I'm thinking it will.

Funny you say that. I've noticed some minor inside to outside movement of the seat when I take a sharp right turn aggressively.
I have stock cloth seats.
Just go without. I live in NY state and have never been stopped for no front plate. Been stopped plenty for speeding, though, but they never noticed no plate on the front.
