The Ford Performance one I thought about, and they have a solid white one. With the Grabber blue I'm not sure I'd like the white/red combo.
I decided against for two reasons: 1.) I wasn't convinced I'd love it, 2.) the rain sensing wiper sensor would be covered.
So, whoever drives the EB/Ecobeast I've seen on 75 a few times ... What was up with you broken down on 75 South after Spring Creek in Plano? Ecoboom, or gas?
Agreed. I've driven in pouring down rain, had it parked outside in the rain, and it's never been an issue. Not an issue. Don't worry about it, or get the filter condom if you just can't let the worry go :)
Awesome to hear.
FP is saying enough to make you feel good, but go in knowing after 3/36 you may have some hassle.
And, I've had mine on since around 1200 miles on the odo, and have 6K now. No issues, and I don't expect to. I guess the only way to be sure is for someone over 3/36 to have a warranty request...
Either way, Bullitt or not, it isn't the same as a FP/PP2.
I won't argue this any further, but call FP and ask; This has been covered a multitude of times and people always have rose colored glasses. The blurb above is the generic MM act disclaimer where it must be proved the part caused a...
Not a word of that is accurate. FP operates separately from Ford, which is why the warranty is registered through them. And, if you read the fine print of the Ford Warranty, the Ford Extended warranty and the FP warranty, they specifically call out FP parts. Like it or not, it's going to be a...
In theory, though they may try and blame the Power Pack and then you'd be in for the hassle of that fight. Not saying they'd deny you, but at that point it's the same as any Tune/CAI install after 3/36.
I gave mine away to a guy that was going to put them in his F-150. I didn't want to deal with it. If someone hadn't taken it, then it was going to the recycler.
Edit: I should mention I posted it on FB For Sale groups.
The nice thing about DD is they will work to make any problem right. I'm still waiting a few more months before I spring for this, maybe a v2. I really don't want to have to install these twice :)
This is where I bought mine.

I don't have a 350, but I do have the FP Power Pack 2 which uses the 350 Intake. I kept the paper filter as a back-up for when I need to clean the FP/Airaid filter, since I have no idea how long it'll take to dry. I figure one paper filter will last the life of the vehicle, since it'll never...
With the help of my son I installed my Ford Performance by Borla Touring exhaust.
When my Steeda IRS sub-frame supports come in, I need to do two things: 1.) fix the alignment of the left tip because it's slightly off, and 2.) need to tape off and touch up the paint on the muffler.
Other...
Just saw you were in DFW. Definitely makes for a unique install and would love to hear/see it in person sometime. I'll be watching for you at some local meets. Also, if you're on FB there are several local Mustang Groups you should join as well.
Last night: Ordered Steeda IRS Subframe braces and black reverse lockout collar.
Today: Will install the Ford Performance Touring Cat-Back. Will post again with pictures and videos.
That we did. It'll be a shame I no longer can watch passes thrown his way bounce of his hands and to the ground while wearing a Cowboys uniform!
Changing the subject: One reason Steeda has a stellar service reputation. The Sub frame braces I ordered were out of stock. First thing this...
