Thanks for all the replies. This was my dream car and I treat it as such. Worked on my own cars for 40 years, most of them used cars that needed work. Only mods were to make the car handle the power from the supercharger. Ben Calimer stage 2 trans, MGW shifter, Speck stage 3+ clutch and GT350...
It had 3/4 tank of 93 octane. The Roush kit only uses bigger injectors and no boost a pump with the phase 1 setup. Stock fuel pump. Ran though 4 tanks of gas after winter and used fuel stablelizer. Car sits in winter with climate controlled garage.
I have a 2015 Roush all stock with a phase 1 blower 670 hp. Never had a problem till yesterday. Driving normal and all of the sudden the wrench shows up and I cant get rpm`s up, like it went into limp mode. I pull over, shut it off, restart and like nothing ever happened, the light goes out and...
Firehawk Indy 500 work great for me. I`m at a little less power but they hold well in a stick car and the price is right up my ally. I have the 9 inch Roush rims so I could not go with 305 but the 275 hold the road. 670 hp
My son and I both bought 2015 mustang GT`s. Mine was black and his was blue. His started at about 2 years old and got really bad and he traded the car in for a scat pack charger super bee. Mine still sits in the garage and has no sign of corrosion at all. Very strange that only select cars had...
I just had a problem like this on my Lincoln MKS. Here is how I found the problem. In the driveway, have someone look at the front wheels from the side and go slow and hit the breaks. Look for movement from front to back. I had a bad lower ball joint that did not make noise until you hit the...
I have been running the stage 1 kit since 2015 with zero problems but when you add more ponies now the haft shafts need to be upgraded along with trans upgrades and if you take it to the strip you will need a upgraded drive shaft as well. Its a 6 speed manual with 3.73 gears and its plenty fast...
Just went with a 40 series tire on my 2015 pp1 premium and it filled the wheel gap nicely but I am running 20"s. The ride is softer because of the bigger sidewall.
For me it was all about the outside temp as the DR`s would hook good on warm days and spin on cool days but the Firehawks should work for my needs at a great price. I never drive the car in the rain or snow. Now I just don`t know if I will keep the car too long as electric Kia`s will be blowing...
Thanks for all the replies. I only drive on the street and I am stuck with my Roush rims but from what I read 285 is the widest you can go with a 9.5x20 wheel. So limited with size mostly because this is PP1 with a 373 and A 40 series tire gives me first and second gear back [manual trans]. Just...
I have 20X9.5 inch rims and run a 40 series tire due to not lowering the car but I am so limited to tire size.
I am looking for a 275/40/R20 but would like to go bigger. These are just for the rear. Just don`t know if a larger tire will fit.
Looking for the best traction with my set up, Roush 670 on a PP1. My Nitto nt555r are toast. The negative camber has worn out the tires on the inside. Before installing these I set the camber to as positive as I could just to get more life from the tires and have more traction. I`m not worried...
Been running my Roush stage one blower since 2015 but I see you have a gen 3 car pp2. With the Roush setup on those they have smaller exchangers due to Direct injection. Here are the main problems with all these blowers. You need to upgrade half shafts, Trans, and clutch on a manual car. If...
