Has anyone thought that maybe the OP started this thread with hopes of selling his PP2 to fellow forum members?

I just returned from a local car show. There were two C8’s, a bunch of Camaros, Challengers, Mustangs and tri year Chevys. The C8’s did not get any attention from the crowd. People were looking at older Vettes, Camaros, Mustangs and some of the odd ball cars.

The absence of a manual transmission has kept me from ordering a C8 plus the 14 month wait. I love my GT m6. The C8 and Bullit are really completely different cars. If you can take the ‘ego’ out of ownership, ask yourself which one will you be the happiest with.

The window sticker is actually $90,065 What happened to the remark the OP said the owner of the dealership made about not selling over sticker? I just called them today, 5-30, and they still have the car. It is still $5k over sticker.

That’s a bit more realistic price wise. If you advertise it locally it depends on what else is available in your area that is equivalent in mileage and condition. You will never get paid for aftermarket equipment.

Definitely pull the trigger on that offer. But, before you do, make sure Carvana is not/has not declared bankruptcy. Financially, they are questionable.

That’s what I’m going to use. I just purchased 5W-30 Motorcraft oil.

I have the upgraded Ford oil filter. The 05w-20 Motorcraft oil was sitting on the shelf. Just wanted some opinions on whether or not it should be used. I do know that Ford has changed their recommendation since 2019.

Thanks to all those who replied. It seems that the consensus is to go with the 5W-30, which I will do.

Getting ready to do the first oil change on a 2021 5.0 GT. I have 10 quarts of Motorcraft 5w-20 full synthetic. Ford recommends 5W-30 synthetic blend. The car is never driven in cold weather. If I go with the 5W-20 full synthetic I will stay with full synthetic. Any thoughts?
