I‘ve grown up working on cars over the years and typically catch issues early. This is simply a lesson learned and need to check the alignment per some of the recommendation. Still glad I purchased the spare a few years ago.

I‘ve tried that…couldn't form a good enough seal against block to catch that oil that comes out when first removing the filter. The aluminum foils does works as a funnel catching oil traveling down outside the filter. Ive punched a hole in filter to try and drain before removing the filter...

I saw it advertised for a motorcycle, but appeared to be approx the correct size. Just an excuse to buy another tool. :-)

Purchased this funnel in an attempt to reduce/eliminate the mess when removing the oil filter. I’ve used a few things (punch hole in bottom to remove most oil, aluminum foil, bendable flat funnel, etc.) that helps reduce the mess, but thought I’d give this a try. I took a filter out of the box...

No problems in using Adams Advanced Graphene after two years.

Thick aluminum foil as a guide, and punching a small hole in filter bottom to drain first has worked for me.

Have they gotten the kinks worked out with this location? Haven’t been to this location after they moved on from Knott’s Berry Farms.

Another reason why I went with the Femco plug…non metal for the main body. I haven't heard of any issues with Femco products.

Does the trim pull straight out? I’m always paranoid about breaking off a tab / clip and having an annoying rattle after reinstalling.

Any vehicle where filters are not installed in a near vertical position are typically going to be more challenging to change. @pilotgore was working on the filter accessory. It’s been taking longer than anticipated….i assume time and access to a Mach 1 to verify fitment.

As @Skye mentioned, these plugs work great for controlling the oil flow. I use the Femco on my Mach 1, and Fumoto valves on my other vehicle.
