I've never had any luck with any of the repellants (dryer sheets, Irish Spring, moth balls, etc.) with my F250 that was stored for almost 20 years. I had constant issues with mice every year and tried everything that was supposed to repel them. Traps worked, but didn't deter new mice from moving...
I'm chiming in here to join in the conversation, though unfortunately don't have any solutions for you. I'm having the same issue in the front passenger footwell; I've checked or fixed every known problem area on these cars, but after it rains I'll have standing water on the floor and soaking...
Emissions testing was stopped in 2020, so you're good there. Whether you get pulled over for loud exhaust or not is up to the cops around you; most won't do anything, but some will. In my 23 years of driving in WA, all my vehicles have had modified exhaust and I've never had any issues for that.
I've checked for that before and didn't see anything, but I'll try again today. There's a good layer of hail covering the car this morning, so hopefully it'll melt slowly so I can check everything over again.
The stickers have already been taken care of (twice just in case).
Hopefully it's not the seal on the windshield having gone bad, I didn't see any water coming from there, but you never know. I've always had bad luck with windshields getting getting replaced and then leaking afterward.
I've been struggling with my 2018 Ecoboost for about 6 months now with water coming in and soaking the BCM in the passenger footwell. I've searched extensively and checked all possibilities that I've read about. The water isn't coming from the stickers in the door jam (I've put plugs in and...
Unfortunately in my case there are no leaks or disappearing brake fluid, I was hoping for a simple fix, though that doesn't necessarily mean air isn't getting in without leaking fluid out. The clutch has been bled many times and doesn't make a difference. Since these cars use a hydraulic throw...
I have that issue with mine. It started out happening once every few months, but now happens almost every morning and takes a round of pumping the peddle to get it back to how it's supposed to be. I've never taken it in to be looked at since it started after my warranty was up and I have a...
Among other things that Ford uses to monitor if a car has been tuned, one of the main things they check is the number of start cycles since the last ECU flash. Unless you have extremely low miles and run through a number of ignition cycles before going in, they'll know right away. Also, "my...
I have an MGW X-spec and a Boomba trans mount. They work really well, but using the two together won't have any impact on what you're explaining since the shifter is solid mounted to the trans, so moves directly with the trans, and the clutch is hydraulic.
I don't know what might be causing the...
Assuming you don't have the digital cluster, go into the main gauge menu where it shows the list of gauges and scroll up or down till the tire pressure monitor shows.
The balance shaft assembly is located below the crank, down in the oil pan. I'm having a hard time finding a picture that shows just how far it hangs down, but this gives you an idea of where it's located. It's right above the oil pump pickup.
It's a 2018, I forgot that I do have the Steeda assist spring too, though the factory perch. I plan to check everything out this weekend, though I was hoping to go another 5k miles before doing the brake fluid to get to an even 50k.
I haven't found anything from search (maybe I'm bad at that). I'm having a rare issue with my clutch peddle where I'll go to push the clutch in, and it's hanging half way through the travel. I can grab it and it's completely loose for the first half like it's not connected to anything, but the...
You're probably not going to get the intake growl you're looking for, but any open element intake is going to make a noticeable sucking noise anytime the turbo starts spooling up. This will be completely for noise though as you'll probably lose a little performance from sucking in hot air from...
