I have the corsa sport on my 17 gt. I choose the sport over the extreme mainly because i felt it sounds a little deeper and less raspy. Another reason was in case i did decide to get headers. The coyote seems to be a raspy engine in general but the sport just had a tad bit deeper tone for me
Yea, I looked at a bunch of other posts and it was saying that 275 is the max for the fronts. I actually ended up ordering 275s for all 4 bc the 285s wouldn’t ship till 7/6. Tirerack did actually stop the order and make me confirm that the 275s would fit up front.
Thanks for the suggestions and help so far. After reading up on a few other threads I am going to stick with a staggered set up with the stock PP wheels and get a set of 275 front and 285 rears. I decided to wait to get a square setup until I find a set of wheels that a love. Now I just have to...
Would running 285s or 275s on all four wheels be dumb since the wheels themselves are not the same size? I was looking at the sve 350r wheels and i could just go 19x10 and get the 285 set up. I just really like the way the stock wheels look. I am also kinda against spacers so I would have to...
So I recently found a bubble in the sidewall of my stock p zeros, not a single idea how it got there because I avoid potholes and the like pretty aggressive. I have hated these tires since I got the car but since I only have 9k miles I never made the move to get new ones. Luckily, I have been...
Id like to imagine that part of my reason for swapping from an ecoboost to my GT was bc i missed TheLion and his posts over in the ecoboost forums. Im just glad you are still active while i slowly plan out my mods for my 17 gt :P
Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Honestly, I dont have much experience driving cars like this, the EB was my first "real" car I have ever driven. I will be going for a test drive Tuesday so hopefully that will let me see how I feel about making the swap. One of my main concerns is that my...
I had a blockage in the frame so water leaked into car and causes some issues. The only other post I have made has all the details but it makes me very nervous about the long term damage of the water inside the car. My car was recently hit my a plow truck and altho it was reported to insurance i...
So I have a manual 2016 ecoboost w/ PP, no mods. After having some issues with my car I have started looking into swapping to a GT. Long story short, I found some '17 GTs near me with crazy low mileage ( >8000) for around 27k-30k w/ PP and a couple w/ premium/PP. I just really started getting...
Sorry for the late response. Yea my car seems to be fine for now. Took it on a 2 hour drive today and it felt fine when I got home. I am going to check it again tomorrow to make sure it stays dry. They carpets felt so weird after i go the car back so I was concerned about it for a long time.
So i finally got the car back today; here is what the dealer said. "Removed seats, all carpets, and trim moldings. Water tested and found water coming into the vehicle from a pillar into cabin. Found foam blocking rocker drain. Lowered dash bracket, make access and removed sound deadening foam...
The dealer called and said something about a leak in the A pillar. I can pick up the car and the invoice on Friday and Ill let yall know exactly what the dealer said was the issue. I am a little nervous that the car wont sound as quiet on the highway anymore but w/e ill be glad to have it back...
It is more like a puddle. Ill describe it the best way I can. I first noticed it bc I saw some mold forming around a plastic part under my seat when I was doing a quick vacuum for the car. I touched the carpet and it felt damp. When I actually applied some pressure to the carpet it was soaked...
So my dealership called and told me that they can not find the problem. They need to keep for about a week and remove the seats, carpet, and padding inside to figure out the issue. I am not exactly thrilled about this but it is the only way I guess.
As to everyone that suggested some type of...
