I battled with that decision.
Ultimately I went with the performance all-season tires. Mainly because spring and fall in Toronto conditions can change fast. I would never intentionally use them in snow (bought X-Ice) but didn't want to get caught by changing to early in the spring or too late...
For me, unfortunately the plugs can be a forgotten piece of the puzzle and I'm plugnorant
I see the gap should be .026 - .028. I think it makes sense that if I'm going to check the plugs I may as well change the plugs.
What should I be going with?
I have a manual EB with CAI, full turbo...
Email. With my schedule I try to do as much as I can either through sites or email.
To be clear, my issue is not with slow replies. Slow I'm fine with.
My issue is that with my last 2 inquiries I've had no replies.
Even after Alex said he'd follow-up with them I never heard back...
I have to say that Bama support has been on a steady decline. Response time, updates and quality of tune is currently terrible.
I had one of the first S550s and bought the JLT CAI and Bama tunes within a month.
The base 93-O race tune was terrific.
Then I asked for a 94-O race tune...
The response times from the Bama team has been pathetic.
I started as a big fan and vocal backer but the lack of support is making me sour on the company.
Sorry if this was discussed. I did a quick search but didn't see anything.
I'm not having any issues but thought I should check if I should look at new plugs or adjust the gap. I don't recall the details but I recall reading that forced air with Mods may need adjustments.
I have an EB with...
It's tough because it almost complete fills up the space. being only slightly off is visible. It took the installer quite a while but eventually got it and looks great.
I got back from the muffler shop yesterday. For me it was the exhaust. One of the clamps came loose and the exhaust shifter and was vibrating against the rear sway bar.
It was adjusted and welded in place.
I'm having a rattle underneath also but it's been isolated to the exhaust. I have an aftermarket turbo back and one area has a very small clearance. Over time and when it gets hot the slight expansion closed the gap and causes a slight rattle against the rear sway bar.
I just had the CEL come on with the P04DB code. There is a little bit of info but not much. I just reset the code and will see how long it takes to come on again.
Other than possible emissions test issues is there any risk of damage?
I did the UPR catch can, PCV mod for the smoke issue.
No I'm not sure. I was under the impression that it wouldn't happen again. I was holding onto hope that it might be residue but since I didn't see any Saturday I thought I was good.
The spray when reving it freaked me out a bit. I should have taken a picture but it was a fairly light spray. I...
This didn't work for me and I'm afraid that something might be worse.
I did the work on Saturday with the guys at my exhaust shop. After finished installing the UPR 2 stage catch can and gutting the PCV I took it for a drive and everything seemed fine. When I got back I let it run in the lot...
Early in the thread there was a number of comments with people saying that this was caused by blown turbo seals.
Could someone confirm what the symptoms would be if it was? I would imagine the smoke would be more in volume and consistency. I'm getting smoke on occasion but not daily. It happens...
The instructions on this is terrible for someone that's never worked with a catchcan.
How is it cleaned? What's the valve on the bottom for (not in the instructions at all)
