  1. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

I opened these small stock vents from the inside and left only the grills from the outside. They are held by plastic pins with 5 nuts. So at a very high speed, the underhood air pressure was so high that the air trying to get through this tiny hole just ripped off the vent completely and I lost...
  2. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

One of the reasons I am getting it is to release the air pressure from under the hood. I have Cervini upper and lower grills and they bring a ton of air under the hood that due to the design of the stock hood has nowhere to go and as a result lifts the front of the car a lot at higher speeds...
  3. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

@Blu_stallion They finally replied by email thanks to you. I just ordered an A88 Carbon fiber hood using your coupon code. The hood is not fully carbon fiber as the one they have for GT350 but as long as it's not heavier than stock I am fine with it. Thanks for your help.
  4. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

Man, these guys from Trufiber are weird. I am trying to buy the same hood in carbon fiber, but communication with them going super slow. Not only they may not reply for 2 days, they don't even answer all the questions you ask. I emailed them, DM'd them on Insta, even called them, and the only...
  5. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

The stock hood is aluminum that's why it's so light.
  6. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

It says 40 pounds on their website and there's this thread where you can find stock hood weight.
  7. Trufiber A88 Heat Extractor Hood .. Thoughts and photos

Trufiber hood is fiberglass that weighs 40 pounds, while stock aluminum GT hood is 36 points, so the stock hood is a bit lighter. I am looking at buying Trufiber hood too as I need to extract as much heat as I can now with Whipple stg2. Thanks for the review.
  8. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Got gapped by Stage 2 E63S claiming he has 850hp. Feels more like high 700s, but still I got gapped. Can't see much on the video but you get the idea.
  9. The whipple wait

I have no idea how you drive with LTH in CA. I get stopped a lot during rallies and canyon runs and they always sniffing around. I am going with MAK midpipes with their 1000hp cats, full exhaust and E85. Should be in low 700whp.
  10. The whipple wait

not yet. I'll post numbers when I do. btw, elevation was 71′ at 73F amb temp
  11. The whipple wait

Not a typo. Stock intake, stock exhaust with a full can of octane booster so around 100 octane. Good timing, no knock. These are true numbers, not some ramped-up BS to make clients happy.
  12. Fluctuating/High Oil Pressure - After oil change

Mine went back to normal. Don't see higher than 80 now. Have no idea what caused it.
  13. The whipple wait

Thanks to @beefcake I got mine stage 2 in 2 days, installed in a week, and enjoying my 615whp. Got used to the power really quick. Already planning E85 and more boost. The goal is around 800whp.
  14. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Were just having fun with friends. 40 roll against stock Scat pack charger.
  15. Fluctuating/High Oil Pressure - After oil change

Just for statistics - also seeing 100psi after Whipple install and switch to 5w50. Never seen above 80psi when it was NA with 5w20

    Yeah, that lip looks sweet.
  18. Aggressive Fitment Thread

They don't. They do sell 9.5 +35 but that is just too narrow of a tire for the back in my opinion.
