I've got 2 of them. I have had good luck with setpower. They have built in battery shut off protection. They also sell a battery for it to run on when you shut the vehicle off. And this work good also.

I can but it would require removal of the acm to access the dsp and switch the rca connection. The wiring at the amp under the dash is a an integrated harness assy from alpine. Would have to cut wires there.

Nope I called ford performance when I had the pcm recall, they said no need to remove tune. Your dealer doesn't know what he's talking about. Call ford performance they can verify this info.
