I have no data either, but they sure made my 19 drive a whole lot better. I have the ford tune so it was just a few clicks to change the ratio with that tuner. I use hp tuners on my ranger but haven't changed ratios and I have Unleashed write the tunes for it. All my tuning experience was on...
I have a set in my garage I would love to get rid of. But shipping to Canada from New Mexico would be more than the cost of new ones. These only have about 5k miles on the oe tires.
I've got 2 of them. I have had good luck with setpower. They have built in battery shut off protection. They also sell a battery for it to run on when you shut the vehicle off. And this work good also.
I can but it would require removal of the acm to access the dsp and switch the rca connection. The wiring at the amp under the dash is a an integrated harness assy from alpine. Would have to cut wires there.
I have a 19gt 300a that I put an alpine upgrade kit in along with a dsp and Rockford fosgate speakers, and a 4 to 8 in screen conversion and set the factory eq with forscan. It has been great for 4 years. Now I'm intermittently get extremely high volume from the right rear speaker. It will just...
64.5 #1229 off the line. 289 auto with erson cam. Had a lot of fun in that car.
Edit. Sorry ran out of time earlier, I've also had a 67 notchback 6 cyl 3 spd and a (uhhumm) 74 mustang 2. But really like the 19gt that I traded to my wife to get a ranger. At least I still get to drive it and do...
As a retired auto tech. I drove every vehicle I aligned. If you don't want it test driven buy the machine and do it yourself! I had a boss that test drove every car that was aligned. If he couldn't let go of the wheel and drive a half mile without touching it. Back on the rack it went. That's...
My driveway, with a floor jack and a drain pan. I did install the femco assy last oil change, so will be a piece of cake next time. I'm old and don't get around good at all but being a retired auto tech. There is no way I'm taking it to a shop, I know how those tech's are and they ain't touching...
I have a 22xlt. Its had a few problems but overall I like the little truck. I would recommend you go to the ranger 5g forums and you'll learn a lot about these little trucks.
Here in NM, All that is available is 91 and I've never experienced knock or rattle in over 10,000 miles with the kit installed. And I'm in the desert where I see 110 ambient almost daily in the summer. So I have to dispute the don't try it if 91 is all that's available. I haven't had any...
Nope I called ford performance when I had the pcm recall, they said no need to remove tune. Your dealer doesn't know what he's talking about. Call ford performance they can verify this info.
