I'm getting ready for the 4.09, what's your highway mpg/cruising speed look like?

Has anyone tried 3.91 gears, that's a 2 step change from 3.55 Or should I not worry about highway mpg, driving 75mph is 2300 rpm with 4.09?

It auto corrects the spedo right? Couldn't I also use forscan?

Gears are outside my skill. I've got a driveline shop who comes highly recommended from my mechanic friends. quoted me 650-800 if I supply the gears.

2018 m6 non pp, (3.55) gears. Current tires are 28.7 tall, which effectively puts any gearing down 1 size. I have already done suspension upgrades, exhaust, rims and tires and I live in a emissions control area. I have no interest in ever going FI. I am debating waiting for the ford...

Good to here. I have zero interest in FI, I'm never going to track/drag I just want the car to "feel" quicker/lighter. I nearly never use 6th gear and I don't need to go 50 in 1st. Looking at the chart I made, 18+ with 4.09 and 305/35 is only 10 rpm more than 15-17 with 3.73.

18 manual with 3.55 here, running 305/35r20 so I think with tire size im closer to 3.31 than stock 3.55. I'm all set to have 4.09 installed any regrets? How is your mpg on the highway?

As i recall the issues stem from generic extenders. Ford actually makes them for specific vehicles and they're free.

I need to get seat belt extenders for the back seat, kids can't reach the inset receptacles while in booster seats. Called my ford dealer, who said ford doesn't make one. Anyone know if other models/years are compatible with those seat belts?

Ah. Its been my experience they reduce the volume a bit, the 12 resonators reduced 6-8 db on this car, 18s did 8-10 on my twin turbo flex. So we will see. I've got my db reader for science!

Nothing is welded yet. Those are vibrant resonators, the biggest they make. I'm also trying Magna flow 10416, and vibrant 12 inch bottle resonators. They have 198, 121, and 98 cubic inches of dampening. I'm going to clamp up, drive around, swap replete then weld the winner. I'm currently...

Thanks. I think it will. Bottle resonators in the h pipe cut 75+percent of the drone. Its only 6th gear highway cruising now, and liveable.

I also want some volume and rasp gone too. I can weld this, my skills end about there!
