  1. Any 6spd 18+ running Yukon 4.11 or 4.56?

I'm getting ready for the 4.09, what's your highway mpg/cruising speed look like?
  2. Gears or Tune

Has anyone tried 3.91 gears, that's a 2 step change from 3.55 Or should I not worry about highway mpg, driving 75mph is 2300 rpm with 4.09?
  3. Gears or Tune

It auto corrects the spedo right? Couldn't I also use forscan?
  4. Gears or Tune

Gears are outside my skill. I've got a driveline shop who comes highly recommended from my mechanic friends. quoted me 650-800 if I supply the gears.
  5. Gears or Tune

315/35 I don't think they look like truck tires plus potholes
  6. 18+ GT Performance Pack Update

April 3rd for release, only 1 pack. Would not say what the numbers are.
  7. Gears or Tune

2018 m6 non pp, (3.55) gears. Current tires are 28.7 tall, which effectively puts any gearing down 1 size. I have already done suspension upgrades, exhaust, rims and tires and I live in a emissions control area. I have no interest in ever going FI. I am debating waiting for the ford...
  8. Why aren't 4.09 gears more popular?

Good to here. I have zero interest in FI, I'm never going to track/drag I just want the car to "feel" quicker/lighter. I nearly never use 6th gear and I don't need to go 50 in 1st. Looking at the chart I made, 18+ with 4.09 and 305/35 is only 10 rpm more than 15-17 with 3.73.
  9. Why aren't 4.09 gears more popular?

18 manual with 3.55 here, running 305/35r20 so I think with tire size im closer to 3.31 than stock 3.55. I'm all set to have 4.09 installed any regrets? How is your mpg on the highway?
  10. Seat belt extenders for rear seats

Ok, appreciate the info. My youngest twins are still in car seats, oldest 3 are in boosters.... Im so ready to be done with car seats
  11. Seat belt extenders for rear seats

As i recall the issues stem from generic extenders. Ford actually makes them for specific vehicles and they're free.
  12. Seat belt extenders for rear seats

I need to get seat belt extenders for the back seat, kids can't reach the inset receptacles while in booster seats. Called my ford dealer, who said ford doesn't make one. Anyone know if other models/years are compatible with those seat belts?
  13. What is your daily driver?

2014 ford flex limited awd twin turbo. Runs mid 12 which ain't bad for a 7 passenger 5000 lb. Always fun to surprise people.
  14. Best Resonator to Remove Drone but Keep Sound? Or a Valve Solution?

The magnapacks 4 inch were too low tone, sort of "dead" for my taste. Gibson mwa? Sounded tinny, and like a bunch of angry bees on meth, which is cool but wasn't for me. 12 bottle and ultra quiet sounded the same. Both lowered some rasp, ultra quiet reduced 4-6db total volume. I don't think...
  15. Best Resonator to Remove Drone but Keep Sound? Or a Valve Solution?

Dual 2.5, ppe downpipes, 18 inch resonator per side offset by 34 inches
  16. Best Resonator to Remove Drone but Keep Sound? Or a Valve Solution?

Ah. Its been my experience they reduce the volume a bit, the 12 resonators reduced 6-8 db on this car, 18s did 8-10 on my twin turbo flex. So we will see. I've got my db reader for science!
  17. Best Resonator to Remove Drone but Keep Sound? Or a Valve Solution?

Nothing is welded yet. Those are vibrant resonators, the biggest they make. I'm also trying Magna flow 10416, and vibrant 12 inch bottle resonators. They have 198, 121, and 98 cubic inches of dampening. I'm going to clamp up, drive around, swap replete then weld the winner. I'm currently...
  18. Best Resonator to Remove Drone but Keep Sound? Or a Valve Solution?

Thanks. I think it will. Bottle resonators in the h pipe cut 75+percent of the drone. Its only 6th gear highway cruising now, and liveable.
  19. Best Resonator to Remove Drone but Keep Sound? Or a Valve Solution?

I also want some volume and rasp gone too. I can weld this, my skills end about there!
