The car might pick up a little bit of peak HP, and you may loose a little bit of torque. Essentially take your dyno graph and move it a few hundred rpm to the right. it's not as simple as just swapping intake mani's. You'll need a whole new TB. Your current chargte piping probably will not...
Wow that's crazy. I have never heard of that happening. I wonder if the tune is doing something funky. If you can recreate it, try to get on a log and send it your tuner.
Maybe. idk, if it would work that way. 10 rib everything with a 6 rib belt/blower pully should work fine, but a 10 rib belt would not work on any of the 6 rib stuff.
I know, it's more for a conversation piece. I think the largest pulley you can put on a G4 is a 105, which might be too much for a stock motor.
Same concept as a 3.8 Whipple vs a 3.0.
On a 15-17 car you will absolutely need to add cams. That's what Im shooting for on my 16 car. Cams/Ported CJ/Twin69/Intake/Longtubes/E85. Ooorrrr just find a super happy dyno. hahaha
Give the guys at Killer Performance a call and see who they recommend. Any dyno in or around the city should be able to take care of you. Toas Performance it south ish too.
