Horsepower of a Demon, handling of a ZL1, and looks of a GT350 for under 65k.

If nothing else the Demon got Chevy and Fords attention. Chevy made reference to a drag option on future Camaros and now Ford is making a comparison to it.

Just saw a Utube video of a Demon on the dyno. It made 776 rwhp with race pcm and good gas.

Think they will release horsepower figures at the reveal?

I thought Hot Rod magazine picked one of these at the dealer last month to test....now just arriving at dealerships?

Demon reveal was kind of fun, the GT500 has been kind of painful. Hope we can find out more info sooner rather than later.

Twin turbos was what I was hoping for.

I still think when it’s released it will be closer to 750 hp.

I give kudos to Dodge for doing the Demon, it played to their strength, but the GT 500 will be benchmarked against the ZL1 and not the Demon.

I wonder if Ford will do a KR version and make it track focused. They could do a delete option for the seats like the Demon and lose a few pounds. Could also make the big wing an option for track use.

Might be seeing a ceiling of 700 to 800 hp with factory supercharged cars and still being able to meet all the government regulations. Seems I read the ZR1 and Demon both threw everything they had into their engines to make current hp and they are 6.2 L.

Nice! 772 pops out as well as the 74.3 on the miles. Both nice numbers if you assume 743.

I have a feeling if it comes out with 800 hp then Dodge will respond with a Demon motor in everything and Chevy will put the ZR1 engine in a Camaro and call it a Z28.

Think I read somewhere certain Porsche models can produce extra boost for a short time period. Not sure if something like that could be done with a supercharger.

If it has a drag strip mode it will hopefully be a beast on the strip as well as the track.

I kind of liked the Demon reveal. Definitely got everyone’s attention.

I think if we see a GT500R it will be drag strip focused.

Besides the horsepower I'm curious how well it will hook up. Big hp without a way to put it down will make it another great tire smoker like the hellcat. The launch features of the Demon make it such a beast.
