i'm not at this point concerned about the three letter agency, however at some point i won't be able to register the car each year without i/m readiness. so i'm trying to figure out what exactly i can do and maintain i/m readiness. i plan to stay n/a with this mustang. boosting leads to too...

currently that three letter agency targets upstream users.....but it may not always be that way. end users may become a target at some point so i prefer not to be blatant, so to speak. but yes, i was running stainless power lt's without los gatos previously on the '17 and also on the '13...

guys who live in areas that require obdII emissions testing....... those of you who run long tube headers and high flow cats, are you able to get all the I/M readiness monitors to pass? on my '17 that i traded away, 4 of 8 test were always incomplete, even though it didn't throw a check...

it's the other thing that was extremely loud after the initial forscan change. Just thought maybe you knew. Thanks though for the other information.

thanks is there a way to turn off the chirp when switching channels on the radio?

when i made the suggested changes in forscan to disable the eq, the door chimes and chirps became insanely loud. had to switch it back.

I'll be 66 in June and just bought my 7th mustang (lifetime) and it's currently the only one I own. The one I regret getting away was a 67GTA fastback with a 390 and a c6 automatic transmission. after making the forscan changes, i noticed the chimes (like when changing stations on the radio or icons on the touch screen) were insanely loud. i decided to revert to the original settings and it cured that problem. weird.

ok thanks. this was a test version of forscan. i emailed them as suggested by another poster with my vin information and they created a test version of the software to see if it would work on my car. it did, with one minor complication. i couldn't get it to disconnect after making the changes...

I was able to access the as builts changed from 727-01-02 0100 0000 0032 to 727-01-02 0000 0000 0032 i thought i was going to change 2 digits, hence the question....does it look right? i certainly can't tell any difference by listening to the radio

I just posted the question over on the forscan forum. Perhaps I'll get lucky there.
