i'm not at this point concerned about the three letter agency, however at some point i won't be able to register the car each year without i/m readiness. so i'm trying to figure out what exactly i can do and maintain i/m readiness. i plan to stay n/a with this mustang. boosting leads to too...
  5. long tube headers, high flow cats and I/M readiness

currently that three letter agency targets upstream users.....but it may not always be that way. end users may become a target at some point so i prefer not to be blatant, so to speak. but yes, i was running stainless power lt's without los gatos previously on the '17 and also on the '13...

  7. long tube headers, high flow cats and I/M readiness

i edited my post after you quoted it yes, i did drive cycles and still couldn't get the monitors to set, even though it wasn't throwing 02 efficiency codes. it was throwing a random misfire code on start up. going from memory, the tests that weren't completing related to exhaust temps or...

  13. How old are the "seniors" (over 65) on this forum?

I'll be 66 in June and just bought my 7th mustang (lifetime) and it's currently the only one I own. The one I regret getting away was a 67GTA fastback with a 390 and a c6 automatic transmission. If only I had known! Here's the current mustang and my previous hot rod. The truck was a supercharged...
  14. been searching for hours, lol. noise cancelation, '23 mustang gt premium, and aftermarket powered subwoofer

after making the forscan changes, i noticed the chimes (like when changing stations on the radio or icons on the touch screen) were insanely loud. i decided to revert to the original settings and it cured that problem. weird.
  15. been searching for hours, lol. noise cancelation, '23 mustang gt premium, and aftermarket powered subwoofer

i hope not. but it's just the audio control module. so no big deal i guess if it didn't work right.
  16. been searching for hours, lol. noise cancelation, '23 mustang gt premium, and aftermarket powered subwoofer

ok thanks. this was a test version of forscan. i emailed them as suggested by another poster with my vin information and they created a test version of the software to see if it would work on my car. it did, with one minor complication. i couldn't get it to disconnect after making the changes...
