i might do that. i didn't ask them about it, i just went thru the faq's and found out what they had to say about it.

yes, thanks. that's the way i've always connected it. it will start populating the window and then it stops and a pop up will open asking for the pcm part number.

I wouldn't know, I'm not an audio guy. Underground electrical construction and maintenance was my thing.

It probably requires a lot less work to tap the rear deck speakers than the front door speakers or center channel speaker, I think.

' thanks yes, i went to a local shop, and he said i can get by without the lc2i or the forscan. he said really the base roll off is only an issue when you jack the volume way up. that's not what i want anyway....just a little more base at normal volumes. he quoted $663 for the 10" rockford...

i was hoping to do it myself.....but it seems the issue with it not being supported by forscan is going to force me to talk to a shop. apparently the old line converters that convert speaker wires to an rca jack just aren't good enough for this deal. i can make all the connections, but i just...

just watched a video about the LC2i pro, and it seems like what i would want....however i really didn't understand all the guy in the video was saying. i know i need it or something like it, but i doubt if i could understand it enough to actually hook it up and adjust it appropriately. so in...

No, it can't. As stated, when i run the software, i get a window asking for the pcm part number. after searching the forscan forum, it's indicative of being too new or not supported yet by forscan. anyway, i was hoping for a workaround of some sort
  9. been searching for hours, lol. noise cancelation, '23 mustang gt premium, and aftermarket powered subwoofer

I am familiar with Forscan...when I try to run the software, i get a window that asks for the pcm part number. after searching the forscan forum, apparently this happens when the pcm is too new and/or unsupported at this point. i've used the software on my '21 f150 and my previous '17 mustang gt...

Thanks for responding. My car does not have the b&o system, just the standard 9 speaker system. the plan is to tap the rear deck speakers, however i've read in other places that some adjustments have to be made in Forscan in order to do this....something about bass clipping or something. I'm...

My desire is to add just a little more base to the stock 9 speaker mustang gt premium audio sytem. It seems that only (perhaps?) the ecoboost models and the gt350's have noise cancelation technology, which I understand plays havoc with an aftermarket subwoofer. basically I'm trying to confirm...
  12. Grumpy Ole Man's Modifications

sounds like the OP is my doppelganger, except i didn't buy a california special. from one old man to the other (i'll be drawing full social security in december, lol) howdy!
  13. Introduce yourself!!

new member and just bought a new '23 gt premium, 10a. within one week i lowered it, tinted and changed the spoiler. looking forward to hanging around the forum. this is actually my 2nd s550, but i only had the first one for a few months (a used '17gt 6a) that i traded for the new one.
  14. Custom Driveshafts - A fix to driveline vibrations or a cause for their increase?

actually, no, the driveshaft doesn't change speeds. The motor does because of the different gear ratios in the tranny. driveshaft speed is constant as it relates to wheels speed and mph. you would need the transmission between the rear of the driveshaft and the pumpkin to accomplish what you're...
