It’s been a long wait but I finally got the GEN2R installed.
17 GT MT82 3.31 car.
The mod list consist of
GEN2R with 85MM pulley
56 lb injectors
VMP BAP
Ford Performance Twin 60 MM TB
MBRP Street Cat Back
170 Thermostat.
Boundary Oil Pump Gears.
VMP did the initial email 93 octane tune. My...
I’m getting close to having a VMP Gen2r Installed on my car. VMP emailed me the tune so I decided to go ahead and try to get it on the SCT X4.
The software for whatever reason wont install on my computer properly.
Anyone have this issue and did you find a resolution? Thanks for any feedback.
I have a GEN2R VMP Kit on the way. It looks like the supplied air intake does not include the cold air portion. Does anyone have a link or know if just that portion to go around the filter is available separately ?
For the ones who have ordered a VMP blower, how long did your shipping take?
I ordered one on January 6th.
Still not here and I did hear possibly a month before it ships. Not worried about it but ready to get that extra power!!
I’m fine with my stock wheels on my 17 GT but wanting a wider contact patch.
Anyone see a problem putting that size tire on the car that currently has 235/50/18? I am considering this oddball size as it is the closest to the stock circumference.
I’m not trying to set records with my car. At first I was thinking Procharger, but I think I want the VMP for the low end torque.
Does the block need to be modified or shaved for the VMP unit to work?
What are typical power numbers from the VMP with the 85MM Pulley and the supplied tune?
I have a 17 GT manual 3.31 car.
Nothing done to it except MBRP cat Back, and recently a set of PP1 wheels with 4s tires.
I’m thinking I want boost. Does not need to be a super aggressive build. Maybe 600 crank HP. Would like some extra power but don’t want stuff to start breaking...
Scored what I think is a great deal on some 2019 PP1 wheels and tires from Shelby Auctions on eBay. Less than $1100 for brand new rims wrapped in Michelin 4s.
Had anyone else put these on a
15-17 GT manual 3.31 car? How did it feel from an acceleration perspective? Just wondering if...
Ive had my GT for 2 years. It is a wknd car so I’ve only got 10,000 miles, but in that 10,000 miles it’s been nearly flawless. No trips to dealer. Fit and finish while not perfect is still as good as any other mass produced car I’ve seen. MT82 works well. Overall very happy with the...
I have a 17 Base GT which has been a great car. I do not regret going with a Base, But I think I do want to upgrade to the larger screen. I've heard mix reviews with the TomTop, so I am willing to spend the money on a Raxiom unit, but it's looking like its not available anymore. Does anyone know...

Am I crazy or does seem like a lot of money for something that is ultimately inferior to a brand new S550 that could be had in Premium trim for less money?
I have a 17 GT with manual trans, and 3.31 gears.
My friend bought the 335 specifically to build. It's been in the shop for weeks getting some things done. I don't have a mod list, but from what he told me it has a diff computer so I assume tune, and its running 14.5 psi.
We did 6 runs I...
I got my Steeda Spring today, and of course I broke the perch while removing the OEM spring. Decided to drive it about 6 miles without the spring, and it's already much better. I know many on here just leave the spring out.
Steeda says it's not good to leave the spring out. Are they just...
Hello all.
After nearly 3 years of having a 90 mile round trip commute for work daily with nearly 10 hours of rd time a week I've decided that I need a fun DD, but not something that's not terribly expensive as it will accumulate miles quickly.
A Base GT seems to fit the bill better than...
