  1. Verde V99 fitment

Mickey Thompson Street Comps If I had to do it again, I would probably go with Continental DW or MPSS. Nothing wrong with the M/T's just not as sticky as I would like to have.
  2. Verde V99 fitment

    20x9 +30 with 275/35/20 20x10.5 +45 with 305/35/20
  3. Verde V99 fitment

I have almost the same setup except I am only running a 275/35 in the front and a 305/35 rear. I am lowered on Steeda Progressives.
  4. m105 or m205

+1 on Meguiars Microfiber kit. It really is dummy proof and gets amazing results.
  5. Black plastic trunk piece

Man, that looks really clean. I have been debating wrapping mine in white vinyl or CF vinyl just so I can stop having to wipe that damn panel down every time I drive it. I would need to see one done in white to pull the trigger.

I use the HF black finishing pad all the time for putting on wax/sealant and it works just like some of my Lake County ones. But yeah, if you can spend a little extra money and get some nice microfiber pads or foam pads. If you look around for some deals online you can find some very good pads...

Buy the Harbor Freight version and get a good 5" backing plate. I have one and its just as good as my buddy's Porter Cable that I "borrowed" for a year, lol. 51 pages of info here on the HF polisher...
  8. Kansas City Cars and Coffee

Follow KCStangz on FB, they usually schedule some sort of meetup as well every month
  9. Kansas City Cars and Coffee

I usually go to most of them, not so much the Auto Museum one anymore. I went to the one on Halloween, it was cold and rainy. The last one of the year is the 28th of this month, but I wont be able to make it due to it being thanksgiving weekend.

I've seen you post that before and I was looking all over for it one day and for the life of me could not find it again. I'm dying to know how you did that. If you could share more pics of it or where you got the idea to do that, that would be awesome!
  11. Recommend a good polisher that won't break the bank

I haven't had a warranty "claim" yet so wouldn't know for sure. They would have to tear it down right there in front of you to know, and I dont see a HF employee doing that why you are waiting.
  12. Recommend a good polisher that won't break the bank

I have had the Harbor Freight DA for 2 years now, and it works just like the Porter Cable counterpart. I changed out the grease in it to a more high temp grease and got a 5" backing plate. I actually think it has a tad more power than the Porter Cable. Plus get the warranty through HF and its a...
  13. mustang fbody meet/grudge racin

Yeah I talked to that guy for a bit. I told him I was looking at those when I got my GT and he said "you should have got this, it blows the doors of the mustangs". I just let him keep talking and sounding ignorant. Nothing more I hate than arguing with someone who doesn't know wtf they are...
  14. mustang fbody meet/grudge racin

Yeah, I went fri night for a bit. Place was packed!
  15. Catless headers + Atak

Can't wait for the rev vids. I've been waiting for someone to go with this setup. I have Ataks and really want headers.
  16. Boomba Racing Short Throw Shifter

Does this shifter require the adapter for other shift knobs or does it eliminate the need for it? I'd like the ability to run different knobs w/o the added height of the adapter.

Always thought they did the show portion on Saturdays, wonder why they changed it.
  18. Mickey Thompson street comps - constant brown sidewall (tire blooming)?

Before you start just caking more and more tire shine on them, pull the tire off the car and give it a thorough cleaning with a good APC and a stiff brush. Simple green, purple power or Totally Awesome at the Dollar tree will work. You might need to clean them 2 or 3 times to get all the gunk...
  19. mustang fbody meet/grudge racin

Is the car show at chux on Fri night? If so I might go, just a short drive for me. Prob wont be going to the track, busy day that day for us.
  20. Painting brembos tips

Powdercoating would be best but a G2 kit applied with a sprayer would be a close second. You can mix the kit like you would then add it to the sprayer and spray on. Once mixed you only have a few hours before it will harden up on you, so make sure all your prep work is done and you are ready to...
