  1. My Lego Mustang (something a little different)

I finally got all my pieces in! Thanks again OP, boy you weren't lying when you said trimming those stickers was the hardest part! All the kids together..
  2. Any good electrical dryers for drying my car

I have the metro sidekick and an electric leaf blower. Both work great, especially if your car is well waxed/sealed. They really help with removing water from the grill area and wheels that would cost you a lot more time as if you were drying by hand.
  3. Hail coming my way

Hailed twice early this a.m. here in KC, my car was sound asleep in the garage while I was wide awake.
  4. blasphemy... anyone else wish they could get the z28 wheels on their s550?

Good lord I want the M228 for my car! I hope "we" can make this happen...

  6. My Lego Mustang (something a little different)

Thanks for your time putting that list together for us OP. Ordered all the pieces (hopefully) today. Now all my old ass needs to do is figure out how to put this thing together, since its been about 20 years since I've touched a LEGO piece...
  7. My Lego Mustang (something a little different)

Dude, I would totally buy one from you if you decide to start making/selling. Or if you could put together some sort of comprehensive list together as of what exact pieces we would need with a video that would be awesome too. Excellent work!
  8. First CG Carwash Report + Question (Image and Word Heavy)

I washed mine yesterday with Honydew and I noticed a bunch of bugs on my car. It was rather annoying, so I rinsed it off as good as I could and pulled in the garage to dry it.
  9. Foam Gun for Garden Hose

Those ones for the garden hoses are not great for foam. I have the Gilmour one listed above and it uses a lot of soap in a short amount of time. I finally bought a power washer (sun joe spx3000) and mtm hydro foam cannon and is worlds better. I will keep the Gilmour for "claying" purposes as...
  10. Cleaning brake dust off painted calipers

Just use some wash soap/water and a small brush when cleaning the wheels. I do this every time I wash my car.
  11. Anyone know a brush to

I just got some wheel woolies for xmas, they are a game changer. I wish I had them years ago. I think the gerbil from chemical guys is a close copy to them. You get 3 different sizes with the woolies so you can reach anywhere in the wheel.
  12. Diode Dynamics S550 Mustang Rear LED Side Markers Are Here!

Saw these in person on the DD shop car, did not disappoint! Now just to scrounge up the money for them, lol
  13. Diode Dynamics S550 Mustang Rear LED Side Markers Are Here!

I wan't to see what the clear lens option looks on white.
  14. Help, Klasse Polish/Sealant mess

Yeah, sounds like you used way too much product. Get some spray wax and wipe the car down with that after a wash. Should clear right up, if not you might have to go over it again with the AIO and then seal again using way less product. Try using the sealant when the humidity isn't high. I've had...
  15. Emblem Delete decklid

Well, if you wanted to do that you could pop the GT emblem off and wrap the whole decklid in black vinyl. You may still see the dimples through the vinyl since the vinyl will sort of "sink into" the holes that the emblem left behind. You could get some thicker vinyl and that may help.
  16. Kansas City Cars and Coffee

My car hasn't left the garage since before xmas. Summer tires do not like this cold weather.
  17. Verde Axis V99 wheels?

  18. Who's got the best friends in the business?!?

I handle those railcars every day at work (specifically the ones with autos on them). I have yet to see Shelby's on them, but I will def keep a closer eye out on them now. I've seen a bunch of GT's, V6's, etc, but most of the time I am too "busy" and don't pay attention to what is in them. You...
