It was a good weekend! Washed, waxed, changed oil, installed new black gorilla lug nuts, and replaced Whipple tensioner with the billet tensioner to get rid of the belt chirp issue.
LOL, not unless you get up to 230 mph which is not going to happen. Here's a link to a site that will show RPM's through all the gears.

MT-82 gearing is as follows:
1st - 3.66
2nd - 2.43
3rd - 1.69
4th - 1.32
5th - 1.00
6th - 0.65
My thanks goes out to Whipple SC! :hail: I just started up after the install of the new tensioner and I am chirp free. :D I was initially thinking of going with the short belt and new routing but ended up just replacing the tensioner and stayed with the original belt - Worked fine.
I just installed the new tensioner and had a question I wanted to ask prior to startup. When installing the pulley onto the tensioner I noticed there is a lot more play (lateral movement) where the pulley can move around compared to the old tensioner where the pulley was centered more and had...
I purchased the FRPP Touring Catback (Black Tips) earlier this year, only have about 1,000 miles on it. Would like to switch to the Sport mufflers (black tips) since they are a little louder.
Looking to just trade out the mufflers, based on my research it should be a direct swap.
PM me if...
Just curious on which lug nuts you bought. I did the same this past weekend, bought them from American Muscle but was a bit disappointed that the nut base is not as large as OEM and you can see an unpainted ring around each of the nuts.
Are there any other black lug nuts out there that are...
My justification - You only live once, if it makes you happy then do it! Can't take any money with me when I go so might as well spend it on what makes me happy NOW.
Happy New Year everyone! Can't wait for winter to be over so I can get the car back on the road. Looking forward to some possible get togethers in the spring time.
Just finished upgrading my Sync 3, everything worked perfectly! Nav maps came back after the second restart. Just waiting on the USB hub so I can start using CP.
Many thanks to the OP HizliBullet for posting the links! :hail::thumbsup:
Lol, I drove 10 hours from NY for my Whipple/OPG/TG install at Hypermotive. Great bunch of guys who do excellent work! :D
I took advantage of a similar deal back in August, got SC installed in September.
I averaged 18.5 prior to the Whipple install and now average 15.5 after the install. Sounds like that is what a lot of other Whipple users are averaging.
For what it's worth, I wouldn't care if I was averaging 10mpg! The fun I get from winding out the gears with the Whipple is worth every...
