It's always a good idea to opt for the larger heat exchanger/intercooler (depending on which SC kit) if your budget allows. You don't want to be in a situation where you are wanting to get on it ( like doing multiple back to back pulls) but your IAT's are through the roof and the PCM starts to...
I know for a fact Lund does not do flex tunes for boosted applications. Not sure about any of the other well known remote tuners. Reason being our cars don't have a flex fuel sensor. The PCM uses the front o2 sensors to infer alcohol percentage, which is not as accurate.
For sale are brand new Procharger Stage 2 pulleys for the procharger stage 2 8 rib kit. Have 4.25" and 4.38" pulleys. The 4.38 was never used and the 4.25 was used for a couple hundred miles and has no signs of wear. Asking $70.00 per pulley (includes shipping) to the continental US. Let me know...
Interesting. Yea I'm definitely leaning towards either that i received a defective clutch, the shop that installed it messed something up, or maybe I needed more break-in time as my car is not a daily driver. From what I can tell it only slips at high RPM under WOT. I was not power shifting it...
So I was out driving my 2016 GT yesterday which is basically a full bolt-on car (mods in signature below). Took my dragy with me so I could work on my 0-60 times and noticed when going WOT from a stop my clutch started to slip on the 2-3 shift and could definitely smell the clutch. Last year I...
For the price of the Black gears I would just get the tried and true TSS OPGs. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Had regular boundary gears in the stock motor on 14 and never had any issues though.
That is true though those FWD Hondas wont hook for squat especially at higher HP levels. Since roll racing has become a lot more popular these days that is why the 60-130 time is starting to become a relevant metric. I will agree though that racing from a dig takes a lot more skill and is more fun.
Have not been to the strip yet (hopefully going this month) but in mexico using my dragy i ran a 5.98 60-130 time. Quarter mile and 60' was crap at 11.30 not getting any traction in first and most of 2nd. Also this was 305/40/18 NT555r's.
Never use anti-seize on spark plugs. This affects the torque value when you are tightening them and will lead to your spark plugs being overtightened. May not be the end of the world but you would hate to over-torque and snap a plug. I was watching a video of It'sJustA6 and they put anti-seize...
Procharger rule of thumb is for every 0.1" decrease in pulley size should increase boost by 1 PSI. I went from a 4.25" pulley down to a 4.0" (decrease of 0.25") and went from 13.5 PSI to 16. I would imagine you should gain 3 or 4 lbs with your pulley decrease.
Also superchargers pulleys are the...
That's what a crank support is for. Besides, it's not like it's one of those crank snapping prochargers, LOL, JP.
Seriously though as long as everything is installed correctly it shouldn't be an issue
