  1. GT350R vs 6th Gen Z/28

Just out of curiosity, doesn't ford own the patent to TI-VCT and is the only company to use it? I believe everyone else uses VVT to somewhat get the same benefits.
  2. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

    I love those wheels though...
  3. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

I was kind of digging the look of the ZL1 for a bit, but now that there are actual pictures of it from the New York Auto Show... that front end has got to go. It's the return of the 4th gen catfish look imo. I didn't realize the bottom of the front fascia jetted forward so much.
  4. Mazda MX-5 RF

This is the first Mazda generation i want to own.
  5. Navigator Concept

That thing looks great. I could definitely see it giving the Escalade a run for its money. I'm also digging that front end design on SUVs. I think that front would look killer on the MKC/MKX and would outshine Caddy's current offerings. Has Lincoln finally hit the sweet spot in the design...
  6. GT350R vs 6th Gen Z/28

I'll give GM props. They're really getting after it in the Hi-Po categories. Maybe due to the success of the GT350, GM decided to keep the LS7 going a little bit longer. Stick a few hundred in the Z/28 and keep it quite limited just like the GT350R?
  7. GT350R vs 6th Gen Z/28

I dont know man. If the grand sport doesnt come with one and the Z/28 will, they'll be hell to pay. I dont think GM would do it to the corvette crowd.
  8. GT350R vs 6th Gen Z/28

I'm quite positive the 1LE wont keep up with a GT350R. So where does that leave the Z/28 if it stays N/A? It means they go Trofeo's/ CC brakes/ DSSV dampers which will raise the price. Just like the 5th Gen Z/28.
  9. GT350R vs 6th Gen Z/28

I'm not quite sure what it'll have. It could be a hardcore version of the ZL1 including the same engine. If it stays naturally aspirated and keeps the regular LT1 as did the C7 Grand Sport, I just dont see a point to it though. Sure it could compete against the GT350R but I have a feeling it'll...
  10. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

That might have been the case for the previous generation, but is it the case for the current?
  11. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

Yeah I dont see the M4 being as fast as a GT350R. It's 2 sec's slower around LS than the Z/28 and while the GT350R hasnt run there, it has beaten the Z/28 by a second a slightly longer track. So i'd say theres a 3 second difference between them. Maybe 1.5 to 2 with equal tires.
  12. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

I think you might be getting a little too hung up in this man if you're now taking it to Facebook in order to prove your point and or bringing personal information to the forum.
  13. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

While the Alpha platform is a performer, don't think the S550 is a slouch either. The S550 platform uses less aluminum in the body, suspension components, and has the bracing for the convertible built in it for even more stiffness and matches the camaro in weight. Sure ford went cheap on the...
  14. Corporate salaries at Ford are out of control and the reason for shitty QC

US corporations might be the highest taxed, but that doesn't mean they necessarily pay those taxes. They take advantage of tax loops holes and pay next to nothing and they still think thats too much. While I wont argue with the salary thing, i'm fine with a company paying their leaders whatever...
  15. Turbo 4 Camaro vs V6 Mustang

The troll is strong with this one.
  16. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

Yeah but their base premium GT is 5-6K less than the Camaro. He's right. This means that most people do not look for performance specifically when choosing their car or everyone would be driving the camaro. It's interior/exterior looks and price.
  17. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

You act like the camaro is super light. It went to extreme measures to beat the mustang's weight by 50-75 lbs (including PP). Ford would be quite capable of bettering that if they did indeed agree with you on pricing and chose to bump up the price 4-5K. They could simply leave out the...
  18. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

See I wonder if most of that cost is strictly due to performance equipment like some say or simply due to the cost of the Alpha platform? What if the camaro goes through the same price increasing issue the C7 vette did? Things will be pretty interesting come MY18.
  19. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

I"m pretty sure whatever Ford introduces for the GT500's powerplant it'll weigh less than the Trinity. Whether its the 3.5L Ecoboost or some version of the coyote. If anything it'll most likely stay the same weight as what it was previously. Should be in interesting race against the ZL1 even...
  20. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

The extra bracing for the convertible that was left out of the coupe. GM is claiming a 3 sec gain against the regular SS, so i'm curious to where it comes from. Drivetrain is the same, so it means its mostly suspension and tire related right? The Eagle tires are good tires, but they're not...
