More room on the drivers side without it :)
Plenty of cars in Europe have the handbrake on that side - Alfas & most Volvos no one seems to avoid buying them because of the handbrake position.
Just send us our cars already:cool:
Well blow me down with a feather - great email this morning from Karen at Ford to give me my VIN and tell me that my pony has been built!!! :cheers:and waiting for shipping!!! :headbang: Prob late Nov delivery estimate :clap2:
Fired the vin into the web as posted by someone else and got my...
I agree - no obvious order of build - maybe the UCL first but might be more about what colour of panels they have available and then what time of day it is and then how can we really pi** off people who ordered first but then all the orders went into the system at the same time so who cares?
It...
Great experience you have there Timm and wish you were over in my neck of the woods but how do you get round all the insurance increases with modifications to standard vehicle? We get hung up on them here.
I think things have got a bit out of proportion here. Basically we would have just liked...
A very generous offer Mr Barratt and I am sure plenty of people will take you up on the offer. However, I am sure you are a busy man and we all wish you every success in your position. Perhaps we could cut down the number of emails if you could give us a generic answer to the one big question -...
I always take these surveys with a pinch of salt - a bit like trip advisor reviews :)
It all depends on the people you are dealing with and the high volume sellers with more garages are always going to get a harder time than niche market low volume kit. Plus you always get the I've got to...
If you can nab a company car you can get one on a monthly lease (that's what I have done) I'm (well company is) paying ÂŁ370 + 1/2 vat for the Alfa with 1500 miles per month and we can just hand it back at anytime.
I am not sure if you can do this sort of thing on a personal lease - I suspect it...
I have no problem with the Ecoboost - we are a bit more educated this side of the pond about turbo engines so the Mustang pushes 300+ that is more than enough but a couple of comparisons to lob in are always handy so I'm sure a couple of members here will be able to come up with some handy comps...
Similar for me with no dealer contact but to be fair I was told mid Nov to Dec when I placed my order in Jan. They thought the UCL cars might come end Oct with demos but no point in demos when allocation for next year and poss early 17 are sold out.
I have given up stressing about it - I have...
German bore wagon - :lol:nearly chocked on my coffee with that one but how very true!
Nobody should have to decide on a Mustang - :headbang: Just said it all :amen:
I've ordered from People's as well in Jan this year.
Agree you may be about a year from order to getting one but you are looking at two completely levels of car. The Golf and Civic are hatchbacks & Mustang a large two door coupe - no way are they are driving the same. Think about comparing...
Completely agree - Go to Austria in winter and hire a car - snow tyres fitted as standard - and go for a drive around - you will soon feel the difference :-)
However, before you all run down the road get a few years worth of average temperature charts for your own area and if you live in the...
:headbang:
Sorry to hear about your friend but you are spot on - you never know and the old cliche about life being short is correct. If you have the funds just get whatever you want you can't take it with you. If it gives you pleasure buy it. Why the hell not? Somethings will always be heart...
For most 'normal' people the RWD won't make any difference. You might notice a wee slide if the road has been dry and then you get a heavy shower and you try to be a bit enthusiastic at a roundabout :-) I always managed to get a wee step out going in my wife's MX5 (don't tell her though!).
As...
Same here (but order 24) and BTW we have ordered the same car :-) Obviously impecable taste!
Done fretting over this and all the 'what's in the car stuff' just going to get on with my life (and job!) and deal with things as they happen - the summer allowed for too much speculation time!
Is it worth trying to set up a list with non-CL winner order dates and any build info?
The CL Winners are confusing stuff - we all know they have priority but it's difficult for normal punters to know where they stand when we are trying to compare our details with a CL winner.
If a non-CL...
