Bumping this one up there.
I'm looking at some track wheels for my S550 GT and Apex EC-7 seem to fit the bill. I wish to run R-Compound so will be going with 18inch. R888, NT01 and Yokohama A050, I have tried them all and A050 are the best by a mile (unfortunately not available for you guys in...
Thanks for the link. I had fun reading through that thread, not a heap of tech info in it but good to see these things being thrown around a race track.
Thanks for the info. Any reason why the 5w30 specifically? Previously I've always used a minimum 40 when on track. Good to hear about the...
I apologize in advance as I'm sure this topic has been covered many times on these very forums. It is difficult and very time consuming to search for the info I'm looking for and since I am new to Mustangs, I thought I would try and get all of the info I'm after in the one thread.
A quick...
This is what I wanted on mine and your post has sealed the deal!! Where did you buy from if you don't mind me asking? Did you retain the factory suitcase resonator? Would love to hear a sound clip if you have one.
When you say lift with the floor jack a little further back from where you set the stands, do you mean still jack from the pinch weld or further inboard? I understand there are some lifting points on the front k member and rear cradle but they could be hard to reach with a floor jack.
I have the FR kit coming soon and just ordered a set of the lateral locks. Thanks for the tip!
Question: are aftermarket adjustable sway bar links essential with the track package upgrade? I think I read somewhere that the OEM link can bend with the heavier swaybar but you'd imagine Ford took...
Adams have some good stuff, I started out with a lot of that but over the last couple years have managed to find some better products that are more cost effective. Where did you get your US lower grille from?
I was going to ask the same question as I have ordered one for my car which arrives next week. I saw another post in which someone used a large syringe to expel the fluid through the inlet port on the crank case side.
So that's what it is. I couldn't put my finger on why some cars I'm looking at appear less aggressive than others. I like that look. I'll add it to the list haha.
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll learn a bit more of this stuff when I actuallly get my car! I like the agressive look of the cervini's c series grilles, I have to say.
Bumping up an old thread. I had my suspension parts list squared away and came here to read that this is exactly what you've specified on your car. Brilliant!
Have you tried this set up on the track Gibbo? Also any updates on the front wheel spacers? I wonder what the front : rear track...
Different strokes for different folks. I prefer Alcantara and the little bit of extra upkeep is worth it for the feel IMO.
Can anyone confirm what the GT wheel is trimmer in? It looks like fake leather from what I've seen but I've yet to actually touch one.
What are the options with quad tipped exhausts for the GT? I really love the GT350 look but there don't seem to be many quad tip systems and they're all $$$$$. MBRP would be my next choice with black tips as they make the tips disappear somewhat.
