  1. Can you really turn off Traction Control?

So you’re looking to be in one of those Mustang crashes into a crowd videos, are you? Sheesh, can’t you be more original?
  2. Do you drive in quiet mode?

Nobody mentioned long freeway drives. Quiet mode, cruise control, put on some tunes, relax.
  3. Show and Shine... Post your ride

Did someone say clay? Tell you the truth, I think she looks rather smashing even with a bit of mud on her.
  4. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

This is pretty hostile stuff. Apologies if I brought it on. Meanwhile, I'm out of here, this is not fun.
  5. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

The Mach-E is actually more SUV-sized. So I take it you get your shirt in a knot about SUV Porsches, BMWs, Lamborghinis, and Jaguars, too? Must be hard for you, being such a traditionalist, to see all these brands building cars that people actually want to buy.
  6. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Absolutely I agree with you on the Bullitt. Just looking at it puts a smile on my face and no electric Mustang will ever sound as good. And that's all without even driving it! Great car, as are all S550s, in my opinion, really elevated the Mustang to a true world class vehicle.
  7. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

I'm actually an Honours history grad and an adjunct professor of law who wrote my major research paper for my JD on a legal history issue. You just keep on sticking your foot in it, don't you? Typical for a millennial. Try shaving, the hair on your face looks silly and the hippies did it better...
  8. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

This a pretty insulting post. 12? Actually, I'm a 58 year old boomer (borderline) who, despite my age, tries to maintain some connection to the world as it continues to grow and develop. And maybe regress, too sad to say. The connection of my car to a rather lame movie that happens to have a...
  9. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

I bought a car, not a name. A damn fine, fun, sharp-looking car. Which it is in spite of the rather cheesy boomer name and its brand's spotty overall heritage.
  10. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

You know Mustang is just a name, right? It’s been applied to a lot of shite cars and a few cool ones. The S550 version is pretty cool, in all its iterations. The first generation was, too (though it got kind of bloated at the end in the “Live and Let Die” era). The Mach E is better than anything...
  11. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Heritage means nothing. If it did there would not have been a Mustang II. Arguably, until the S550, the heritage was eroded by the other intervening generations, too. They’re hardly 911s. Hell they’re barely Boxters. I think Ford made an excellent marketing decision. They ought to be...
  12. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Bad math. Let me help you: Assume electric car future is inevitable. Assume Ford must compete in that world and must start now or go bankrupt. X = what Ford needs to do do to survive. Solve for X. … I don’t know about you but I’d rather live in a world where Ford continues to exist and in which...
  13. Solid Black wheels will fade away!

How about 3 seasons of black and 1 season of bright? Picked up a set of these with winter rubber on them a couple weeks ago. This is a photo of just one of them on the car as I was checking to see if they’d fit over the big front Brembos. Best of both worlds. And I think the mix of green paint...
  14. Is magneride worth it?

Thanks, and I see now that he was not talking about Bullitts but GTs. And about that, maybe a similar observation: I think the way Ford Canada invoices Ford vehicles sold in Canada may very well involve different combinations of apples, oranges and bananas - I mean, suspension packages, standard...
  15. Is magneride worth it?

MagneRide was standard on Canadian Bullitts, which were essentially the same as American Bullitts except for metric instrumentation. If I recall correctly from when I ordered mine brand new at the end of 2019, the only option was the Recaros (which I did not choose). Everything else came with...
  16. Is magneride worth it?

So is it the Bullitt or the Hellcat that causes your teeth to chatter when magnaride is “on”? Or maybe it’s just the cold Alberta winter? :)
  17. Is magneride worth it?

Off, on, huh? As far as I know there’s no on/off switch. Feel the bumps and piss blood? Somethin’ is up with your car, methinks. Either that or you’re driving on some pretty messed up roads. I used to own a CTS V with GM’s version of MagneRide. Worked fantastically in the Caddy, works amazingly...
  18. Side scoops?

While I am 50/50 on the look (kinda like it/kinda of IDK) it’s less aerodynamic and must contribute some wind noise. Seems to me there’s a trade off there, maybe not a big one, though. Boils down to personal taste ultimately, I guess, and there’s no question, even though I’m just 50/50, that...
