I guess I'll try and make it out for that event as well. I am doing the Nasa events the weekend before and the weekend after as the last two events for my Time Attack series. If not the S550 I will be there in my SN95.
Would have helped if I read your bio! Lol. Have you though about opening up the actual hole where air is let out of the hood? Watching the CJ Pony Parts video for installing Roush hood vents it looks no bigger than a 25 cent pack of gum.
Track Spec hood vents will help with oil/coolant/cylinder head temp. BG diff fluid will help with diff and trans as well. Those three mods are what I have done and I have only had the Diff temp warning come on once in 20 track days in Arizona.
I purchased the over priced(to some people) cover from Velossa. But I was told by a reliable source(Heremy), that you can use a center cap. I will check tonight to see if a stock center cap will fit from the PP wheels.
This is my exact set up. I love it. I also cut off the forward most resonator along with the carbon trap in the filter housing. The resonator removal made it have some nice growl like a "cold air" intake.
Opmustang.com has them for $219 shipped currently. https://www.opmustang.com/store/p203/www.opmustang.com/store/p203/store/p203/2015_-_2017_Mustang_GT_Performance_Pack_OEM_Brake_Pads_FR3Z-2001-C.html
I do not believe it will fit. JSR and I saw that the 2018 intake tube and diameter of the intake box is larger. We were going to try and lube it up and try and stretch it. I am not very confident.
I have heard good things about Dyno comp. Also about AZ Elite. I personally use UMS Tuning. They do more import stuff, but have no issue with Mustangs.
Ahh you are talking about the school track. It was a freaking blast with the looper. I am hoping it does not loose too much of the pucker factor going thru turns 1-3.
