3.73 is not least ideal with a stock redline. Shifting at 7500+ with 3.73s makes the most sense but that requires mods. I'd lean towards another 3.31 car or 3.55s.
I didn't read through the other replys, but it looks like someone with a stock car needs to dyno it with a Lund tune and a Livernois tune. That's a big ask, but idk how else this can be evaluated.
Personally, I don't care if Lund tuned cars are the fastest across Ford platforms in terms of record times. It doesn't automatically guarantee their etunes are the best, and there are too many confounding variables to claim the tune is the key differentiator.
Lund is doing the best marketing on...
$1200 for PP2 is a bit heavy.
For the NLS, make sure your trans is warmed up, keep your foot on the gas and just shift. The reflash will work it out. Very similar to regular power shifting but with an artificial limiter for safety. That said, if you let off the clutch normally, and try to...
Based on some of my research, I'm not sure how well they'll be able to optimize cam timing through their etune revisions. Doesn't seem like they do much with it.
Is it warmer out now than it was when they first rode?
Additionally, make sure the clam bolts aren't in any way hitting the underbody. That'll set off the knock sensors and cut power.
At almost $2,600 I doubt many will want to review it, lol.
How different is this from the ROUSH active exhaust?
Why not just wait for the '18s to hit the market and see if anyone can find a way to get the upcoming factory active exhaust to work on the '15-'17s?
I'll keep my eyes out for a black V6 coupe. Stock wheels? This is mine:
I struggle to find decent driving roads. I suppose MLK going to the 90 interchange is twisty, albeit busy. I make my way to the highway when I want to play, but Lake county (Willoughby, Kirtland) seems to have more...
Chris, what color is your car? I'm in CLE Heights as well, and I have a race red GT. I'm sure we've seen each other around the area.
If you're worried about it, take it to the dealer, but they'll tell you nothing is wrong. Are you sure you're not feeling traction control kicking in to stop...
You sure did : ) It led me to spend some time researching.
Trying to set up a baseline on a local Dynojet next week, so I can track my progress as some mods go on this spring. Would like to refer back to this thread and others for benchmarks.
For sure. I think we're absolutely on the same page in terms of the role dynos play as tuning tools and what a manifold change will do to the powerband.
My comment stems from seeing a couple of recent threads showing Lund dynos with what I perceive to be low TQ for the mods. My questions...
Honestly, he should be making more power. TQ is low across the board and it isn't from the manifold.
Was this an etune or a dyno tune? Can anyone answer this?
Where's all the tq pre and post manifold? 365 and 37x? That seems crazy low. Was this a dyno tune or an etune? I'm not sure what the custom racing tune means.
