For the car. Try putting the key fob in the cup holder like GMB mentioned. The attena is directly underneath the cup holder.

I tried my old clock spring and it still doesn't work. I'm fairly certain nothing was damaged or pinched while installing. Now I'm thinking something needs to be reset via the Ford scan tool.
