It's thought to be un-needed since 90% of any oil in the PVC valve would come through the passenger side.

Very easy install, the most time is the strut tower brace removal and a wiring harness clip thats need to be relocated, it's just a pain to remove and not break.

To the OP, your right the wiring harness clip is a pain in the ass. I took a long thin tool and pushed it up from the bottom also make sure each connection will click into its resting area, other wise it will pull off on its own.
