The stock PP struts/shocks are still on the car. I had suspension parts and headers installed last week which necessitated dropping the K-member and entire rear subframe. Now my car is way bouncier than before. The only suspension mods I had prior were the Steeda progressives.
Koni's???
And found a for sale ad lol
I guess it's not a popular mod. My kit was installed today, and they pulled the entire rear subframe to install it, maybe that's why:shrug:
I waited about four weeks for these, but I'm glad they're finally here. Big ups to UPS delivering an unmolested box. I pulled the driver's side out to check quality and finish, and all I have to say is :first: ARH is known for making top tier stuff; now I see why. Big thanks to the folks at ARH...
This is a performance, not an install, review, but the install was pretty straightforward. I was able to do it with jack stands. I had a hard time with the cable at first, cuz it's a bit longer than the stick unit, but installing up top near the firewall first worked the best.
Mind you, the...
I just picked up the full RTR grill package. Good look to Alex at American Muscle for the quick pm response  Anyone with this setup notice a nice drop in IATs? Besides the nice styling, I'm hoping for some relief from these insane warm weather air charge temps.
So this happened while trying to update my firmware. I followed the normal procedure, but after the update completed the screen went blank. I thought the gauge might be re-booting, so I waited about 5 minutes. NOTHING.... I unplugged the unit, and then plugged it back in. This is what's...
I have a Corsa Extreme (I know), and I live in a condo complex. Someone left a note on my car complaining about early am start-ups; I leave every morning for work before 6 am. Any ideas besides yanking the catback or choking my neighbor out?
It's pretty well established that cars running a stock tune will benefit from installing the PedalMAX (PM). A lot of us are uncertain, though, if this unit will work well on a tuned car.
I don't know about your S550, but mine is a dog from idle through 3.5K rpm, even with a tune. When simply...
Pretty standard? Installed the Corsa, and I LOVE the sound. It does seem like I lost some torque tho, almost like I have to wind it out more just pulling away at a light:shrug:
FedEx destroyed the box my springs came in :paddle: , and there are only springs in the box; there were no dustboots or bumpstops in there. I'm assuming, unlike Eibach, the Steeda springs reuse the factory stuff? It's too late here on the west coast to call Steeda.
I must know now
Thought I l'd start a new thread about my noisy brakes. I brought my car in yesterday to Fremont Ford, and they were able to duplicate the noise I'm hearing (metal on metal grinding). The tech said the pads are faulty, and Ford engineering will be approving the PP GTs for pad/rotor replacement...
My car has a JLT CAI and a NGauge with a Lund tune.
Would you....
Buy a ARH 1 7/8 off-road longtube, long system with x-pipe? Around $2K installed.
Or...
Get a x-pipe resonator delete with Corsa catback, with some anti-wheel hop goodies and lowering springs thrown in...
