  1. 2015 EcoBoost Mustang in Winter Weather

I would imagine the new platform (especially premium trim with drive modes), would be even better than the outgoing 2014s. For reference I drove my 2014 through all of last winter with snow tires and didn't have a single problem, and we had record snowfall totals. I doubt she'll have any problems.
  2. Horn-Lock disable?

As long as you only push the key fob once, the horn shouldn't honk. If you double or triple check it, just make sure you push the button 10 or so seconds apart and the horn shouldn't go off.
  3. Frozen Front Tires

Use silicone lubricant for the doors. They won't freeze up if you spray the top and bottom.
  4. the EcoBoost or the v6?

If the prices of all three models were the same, I'd agree with you. It's tough to ignore that these fuel cost differences are on top of the significant difference in cost between the models, though even without that difference $200-400 per year adds up over time.
  5. What are some things you DON'T like about the GT350?

Isn't there a tech package for those who want the premium gadgets?
  6. More impressions of my Black GT PP, 2 days 200+ miles and still smiling

Yeah it's just a spray can. Had freezing issues early last winter and that's what the guys at the dealership recommended.
  7. More impressions of my Black GT PP, 2 days 200+ miles and still smiling

I'd use silicone lubricant on the windows. I use them on my 2014 to help with the window drop upon opening the door and I didn't have a single problem last winter once I sprayed the bottom/top of the windows. You can get it elsewhere I'm sure, but your dealer will have it as well.
  8. Projection Pony light

I'm assuming they're like the 2014s, in which case they come on every time you turn the car on. You just typically can't see them during the day because of sunlight, etc. If you hold your hand right under the mirror any time of day you should be able to see the pony light.
  9. Weather in Detroit and FRAP production

I don't think there will be any issues as the bad weather is to the North/West of Southeast Michigan. I'm right across the river from Detroit here in Windsor and we don't have any snow in the forecast over the next few days (I think they're calling for a dusting on Sunday but that's quite a ways...
  10. October 2014 Mustang Sales (and vs. Camaro & Challenger)

I think the even bigger issue is that there aren't too many dealers who even have a 2015 Mustang yet.
  11. Enhanced security package, what are the settings?

If the alarm system is similar to the alarm system on the 2014 (which, aside from the centre console, I'd assume it is), the perimeter alarm is not that sensitive, and it only would go off if the doors or trunk are forced open.
  12. Odometer Miles at Pickup

While I can appreciate wanting to be the only one to drive your car, it having a few hundred miles on the odometer at delivery isn't a big deal. My 2014 had to be driven down to Windsor from Brampton so when I picked it up it had over 400 kilometres on it. Didn't think it was a big deal...
  13. 6G Mustang 10 speed?

Doesn't it help performance, too? The higher gears help the fuel economy, but the lower gears would increase acceleration, too. I would be pretty shocked if the Mustang doesn't have an 8-speed or a 10-speed in a few years. The current transmissions are great, but Ford needs to keep up with...
  14. Anybody here willing to wait a couple years?

I'm waiting, mainly because my 2014 is paid off and I have no interest in having a car payment right now. Since I'll be daily driving whatever car I have, I figure I might as well wait at least until the new transmission brings better fuel economy (I know no one buys a Mustang for fuel economy...
  15. 10k Mark Up on GT in SoCal

The plant is likely capable of producing well more than that, if needed. Different company, but for example Chrysler sells over 200,000 of their minivans annually and they're all built at the same plant here in Windsor. One thing that may limit Mustang capacity at Flat Rock is that the...
  16. Enhanced Security Package

I believe it is the same as in the outgoing model (active alarm with interior motion sensors, as well as sensors that pick up if the car is tilted for towing), but with the addition of an electronic locking glove box.
  17. Reverse Park Assist

Camera is standard on all trim levels. Reverse assist is just the sensors.
  18. Blind Spot Mirrors?

I believe they're standard. The only Mustangs that don't have the blind spot mirrors have the electronic blind spot monitoring system, in which case a light on your mirror turns on if there is a car in that blind spot.
  19. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the S550

Also don't think the signature lighting is sufficient in Canada, which is likely why fog lights are standard in Canada. They're (fog lights) always on on the 2014s, and likely will be on the new car, as well.
  20. For those of you who love the new Mustang, pick just one thing you hate-Read 1st Post

I believe he's referring to the two back side windows, not the windows on the doors. On the current car, there's metal between the door glass and the back side window, while they're side-by-side on the new car.
