  1. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

I get that the performance will likely be significantly approved over the outgoing generation (lower weight, etc.), but considering how many of the average buying population doesn't care about that I'm not sure I really understand the logic between doing a complete redesign and making it look...
  2. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

I believe the Unifor (CAW) contract with the Big 3 isn't up for renewal until 2017. Plant is staying open regardless at this stage, so there shouldn't be any contract issues to work out.
  3. Ford Europe 2015 Mustang GT 0-100 km/h Test, Lateral Accel., Fuel Efficiency & CO2

Pretty sure the European gallon is bigger than the US gallon. I know the UK gallon is.
  4. painted decklids to become an option in the future??

I believe the decklids leave the factory covered. Looking closely at that screen cap you can see some black there, too.
  5. Major Automakers want to make it illegal to modify/repair your car.

Considering how the appeal of some cars to many people is the size of their aftermarket opportunities (the Mustang is a prime example), I'm not even sure it's productive for automakers to pursue this, as it could actually hurt sales.
  6. GT500 vs...

  7. Stripped Down "Poverty Specs"

When I look to upgrade (2017 model year), my ultimate would be a base GT with security system & the premium mirrors (for winter purposes mainly, but the ponies are pretty cool, too). I'm curious to see if anyone will successfully make the mirror swap on a base car, as that would make my decision...
  8. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

The weight he quoted is directly from the European specs. http://mustang.fordmedia.eu/enhanced.htm Under Documents, you'll want technical specifications, and then in the english PDF under the manual GT weight they have 1651 kg, which is 3639 pounds.
  9. Trade in Value

We have that law here in Ontario. Tax is only on the net difference between car cost and trade-in.
  10. Grabber Blue Down the Line?

I wouldn't be surprised if yellow and orange were swapped out for grabber blue and some other bright colour (either GHIG or something else) in 2017.
  11. Grabber Blue Down the Line?

If Grabber Blue and the 10-speed auto both show up next year for the 2017 model, I don't think I'll be able to pass on that. Hopefully Ford brings it back.
  12. March 2015 Mustang Sales (and vs. Camaro & Challenger)

The impressive part about these numbers is that a lot of North America was still thawing out for most of March. Here in Windsor (right across from Detroit) we haven't really had too many "Mustang weather" days yet. Sales should continue to increase as it warms up.
  13. [Anonymous POLL] GT Owners...how much do you make a year?

The car definitely depreciates, but there's still equity in the sense that you can get money from selling it (albeit less than what you paid for it to begin with).
  14. SS50: V6 versus GT (Practicality vs. Dream)

Fresh out of school, I bought my 2014 V6 Mustang as I didn't want to commit too much of my income to a car like the GT right away. At this point, I'm looking to the 2017 model year to upgrade to the GT. The GT is definitely a model that I want to say that I've owned at least once, and the Coyote...
  15. 2016 Mustang changes?

This isn't really any different than it is now. Base cars get basic Sync, while premium cars get the full MyFordTouch.
  16. Look what I found in the glove box on delivery!

Considering seniority rules and the fact most people would rather do QC tests than the various production jobs, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the most experienced doing this job.
  17. 2015 Owners-Biggest Surprises/Disappointments so far

Doesn't pulling the lever towards you, as opposed to pushing it out, turn the brights on very briefly?
  18. S550 V6 vs Eco Performance data

Considering my 2014 V6 with the 2.73 gears can consistently get almost 35 miles per gallon on the highway, I'd be pretty surprised if a 2015 V6 with the 3.15 gears couldn't also get low 30s on the highway.
  19. Questions for Ford UK

Keep in mind that the Canadian spec has the same DRL "issue" (the tri-bars are not the actual DRLs). It was pretty exciting. I've seen a few at dealerships, but hadn't seen any on the road before. Contrary to what some people seem to say (we'll call them the Fusioncoupe crowd), I instantly...
  20. Questions for Ford UK

I saw one last night (first one I've seen in the wild at night, actually) and they were still lit up. Different car, but for what it's worth the bars on my 2014 stay on at all times, as well (even though the fogs are technically the DRLs).
